Chapter 1239: Chapter 1251

Chu Ge looked at Lin Dong curiously, "Do you know this Wei Yu?"
Lin Dong finished thest bit of soup in his bowl, then nodded and said, "I wouldn’t say I know him, I just know a bit about him. Mr. Chu, don’t forget I’m a walking gossip machine. There’s nothing in the Capital City that I don’t know about."
Lin Zhao scoffed lightly from the side and said, "Then why don’t you tell us how many disgraceful things this Wei Yu has done?"
"Actually, on the surface, Wei Yu seems quite the gentleman. When you first interact with him, you’d think he’s a very decent person. But unfortunately, Wei Yu is the master of disguise; the number of young girls he’s harmed could fill a truck."
"How do you count with a truck?"
Lin Zhao teased, "Do you even know how to describe things properly?"
Lin Dong red at him irritably, "Shut up, I’m not done talking yet, and you’re interrupting."
Lin Zhao clicked his tongue and said, "Go on, go on, I won’t interrupt."
Lin Dong continued, "Wei Yu’s reputation outside is bought by the Wei Family, and the women he associates with are all after his money. After he’s had his fun, he gives them money to keep their mouths shut."
Lin Zhao looked at Lin Dong skeptically and asked, "Where did you hear all this?"
Lin Dong shook his head, "I’m not telling you."
Lin Zhao looked at Lin Dong speechlessly, pursed his lips lightly, and lowered his head to eat. After all, what he said had nothing to do with him.
Chu Ge looked at Lin Dong in surprise, "What if they’re not after money?"
Lin Dong paused for a moment, then shook his head, "If they’re not after money, he wouldpletely ignore them because, in his view, those who don’t covet money are the most dangerous."
"In ces like bars, if you inquire, the stories are totally different from what’s said in society. But since he’s a member of the Wei Family, which is powerful and influential in the Capital City, nobody wants to offend them.
"Mr. Chu, why are you suddenly curious about him?"
Lin Dong asked curiously.
Chu Ge shook his head, "It’s nothing, just pure curiosity."
Lin Dong acknowledged with an "oh," rubbed his rounded belly, and asked, "Is everyone full? If so, let’s head out. This is the first time we’vee to the Gambling Stone Field so early, the streets aren’t even busy yet."
Chu Ge nced sideways at the TV, which had already switched to other news. He paused in thought, then took out his phone to find Mu Bingtong’s WeChat.
Thest chat record ended yesterday morning. Chu Ge opened the dialog box, just about to send her a message when he noticed the name on the dialog box changed to "typing."
Chu Ge hesitated for a moment, paused his typing hand, and shortly after, received three words from Mu Bingtong: "Good morning."
Chu Ge smiled and replied, "Good morning."
The speed was so fast that even Mu Bingtong was surprised.
"It seems, only when I message you at this time can I get a timely response from you."
Chu Ge’s lips curled up slightly imperceptibly, "You can reach out to me anytime, and as long as I see it, I’ll respond."
Who knows what the other side was doing, as there was no reply for some time.
Chu Ge didn’t ask further, put his phone back in his pocket, and headed to the Gambling Stone Field.
The next day, Chu Ge went to the Yuwen Mansion ording to the agreement with Old Master Yu Wen and others.
When Chu Ge arrived, the people from the Yuwen Family were already there. As soon as he entered, he saw the living room filled with people.
The housekeeper walked up with a smile, saying, "Mr. Chu, you’re here, pleasee in."
Chu Ge nodded slightly, somewhat surprised, and asked, "Why are there so many people here today?"
As he walked in, everyone’s eyes fell on him, as though they were waiting for something.
The housekeeper exined, "Mr. Chu, please don’t mind. It’s because they all heard you’reing today to open the governor and conception vessels for the Eldest Young Master and the others, and they’re curious, so they wanted toe and watch."
Chu Ge nodded slightly, "But when I’m helping to open their governor and conception vessels, I can’t be disturbed; they wouldn’t be able to see anything anyway."
The housekeeper was taken aback, hearing the underlying meaning of Chu Ge’s words, and nodded slightly, "Understood, I will inform the Old Master."
The Old Master was in the study with Yuwen Kangli, instructing them when suddenly there was a knock at the door. The housekeeper entered, "Old Master, Mr. Chu has arrived."
On hearing this, the Old Master quickly stood up from the sofa, followed by a somewhat excited Yuwen Kangli, who also looked towards the door.
Chu Ge came in, "Old Master."
"Mr. Chu, from now on, I’ll have to trouble you."
Chu Ge chuckled and shook his head, "It’s no trouble at all."
"Are you all ready?"
Chu Ge asked, looking at Yuwen Kangli and the others.
"All ready." They all responded in unison.
Chu Ge nced over each of the three brothers and then asked, "Who’s going first?"
Unanimously, everyone looked towards Yuwen Kangli.
Yuwen Kangli coughed lightly and scratched his head, "Then I’ll go first."
Chu Ge nodded slightly and again said to Old Master Yu Wen, "Old Master, during the energy transmission, I hope no one will disturb us."
The Old Master understood immediately, nodding quickly, "I understand, Mr. Chu, don’t worry, I won’t let anyone disturb you."
With that, the Old Master motioned to the housekeeper, "Let’s go outside."
Just to be safe, the Old Master reminded the kids as he left, "You must hold on and be strong, understood?"
Yuwen Kangli nodded, "Grandpa, don’t worry, I’ll take care of my two brothers."
The Old Master nced at him exasperatedly, with a light sigh, "Out of the three of you, you’re the one I worry the least about."
Yuwen Kangli was momentarily speechless.
"Alright, I’m heading out."
After the Old Master left the room, Chu Ge closed the door and even drew the curtains on the balcony.
Yuwen Kangli was quite curious, "Mr. Chu, must it be so mysterious?"
Chu Ge chuckled, "It’s not about being mysterious; it’s about worrying someone might secretly take pictures."
The identities of Yuwen Kangli and the others weren’t ordinary. The news of him opening their governor and conception vessels had already spread, and there were probably many reporters around the Yuwen Mansion, waiting to catch news.
Their cultivation technique is fundamentally contrary to science; if captured and made public, it would undoubtedly cause a significant stir.
Yuwen Kangli didn’t fully grasp the implications, but nodded half-understandingly, uttering an "Oh," and sat down on the floor as Chu Ge instructed.
