    After more than an hour, the taxi stopped at the entrance of Bai’s Group. Lu Tianxing paid the fare, got out of the car, and headed inside the building.


    Bai’s Group hadn’t changed at all despite his few days’ absence. It was still bustling with peopleing and going in a hurry. However, when Lu Tianxing walked in, everyone instinctively paused and respectfully greeted him, "Assistant Lu."


    Lu Tianxing smiled and nodded in response, briskly walking toward the exclusive elevator for the president, and pressed the button.


    When the elevator arrived, Lu Tianxing stepped inside without stopping and went straight to the top floor instead of going to Lin Qianru’s ce.


    This wasn’t because Lin Qianru’s position in Lu Tianxing’s heart was less than Bai Zhiqing’s, but because Bai Zhiqing was, after all, hiswfully wedded wife.     There, Bai Zhiqing’s figure immediately came into view.


    At that moment, Bai Zhiqing was holding a pen in her right hand, focused intently on the documents before her. She didn’t even notice Lu Tianxing open the door and walk in.


    Seeing her like this, Lu Tianxing took a deep breath, striving to move silently as he carefully closed the door and tiptoed toward her, not wanting to disturb her.


    In no time, he was by her side, silently watching her, mesmerized by her immacte and beautiful profile.


    Just then, Bai Zhiqing seemed to sense something, suddenly turning her head.


    Lu Tianxing’s presence fully entered her line of sight, and immediately, a look of unrestrained delight appeared on her face. "Lu Tianxing...."


    She stood up from her chair, looking at him joyfully. "Lu Tianxing, when did youe back? Why didn’t you call me so I could pick you up?"


    "I wanted to surprise you."


    Seeing the undeniable joy on her exquisite face, Lu Tianxing’s expression overflowed with tenderness. Without any hesitation, he stepped forward and embraced Bai Zhiqing.


    Feeling his strong embrace and the familiar scent at her nose, Bai Zhiqing trembled slightly and hugged Lu Tianxing back forcefully, as if she wanted to merge into him.


    After a long while, she released him and looked up, asking, "Tianxing, how did it go? Are things in Beijing resolved?"


    "All sorted."


    Lu Tianxing nodded, his gaze inadvertently wandering over Bai Zhiqing.


    Given the close proximity and the fact that her cor was slightly open, by simply lowering his head a bit, he could see a deep, enticing cleavage, causing his breath to quicken. After being apart for some time, he found her innate feminine allure had be even more captivating, no less enticing than Lin Yafei’s allure to men, making it hard for him to stayposed.


    "Lu Tianxing...."

Don’t you think we should make good use of our time to do something meaningful? Otherwise, Grandpa keepsining that we haven’t given him a great-grandchild."


    Hearing this, Bai Zhiqing immediately understood his implication and instinctively wanted to refuse since they were in an office. What if someone walked in?


    But before she could say anything, Lu Tianxing leaned down without hesitation and kissed her inviting lips.


    Her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at him. She realized that since his return from Beijing, his boldness seemed to have increased significantly.


    Instinctively, she wanted to push him away, but the warmth of his breath and the passionate kiss overwhelmed her, draining her strength as if she couldn’t resist him anymore. Instead, she slowly lifted her head, allowing him to savor her lips.


    Gradually, she noticed a change in Lu Tianxing’s kiss. Though still filled with dominance, this time she felt a touch of tenderness and care for her, as if she were a precious treasure in his hands, too valuable to damage.


    Unconsciously, she closed her eyes, lost in the tender moment.


    After a long while, they parted, and she opened her eyes slowly, her cheeks flushed like peach blossoms. Staring at his cheeky face up close, she patted his chest hard, "Lu Tianxing, you rascal, you just got back and are already bullying me! Let go of me now. I asked Secretary Lan to fetch somepany files, and she might be back any moment. What if she sees this? How could I ever face her again?"


    "Hehe, isn’t it a bitte for that, sweetheart? You lit my fire; you have to help me put it out."


    Lu Tianxing gazed fervently at her delicate face, inhaling the fresh and elegant scent from her, which excited his nerves. His heartbeat quickened, and unable to suppress his excitement, he swept her off her feet princess-style and headed toward the inner office.
