Chapter 764: Chapter 763 Assassination in Progress (Part Four)
“There are indeed a lot of ves here, with no shortage of the stench of death.” Mu Chen said again, hearing the screams of some women and sensing the death energy left behind by some people who had been killed.
“The Church Court, truly a force of sin, just like the Blood n, repulsive.” As Mu Chen spoke, he blinked out of sight; his target was not others, he was first going to kill the Pope, a man endowed with Divine Power Origin.
The Church Court, worshippers of God, legend has it that the Pope possesses a portion of God’s Origin Power. Although Mu Chen is unsure if it is true, the Church Court indeed conceals Divine Power Origin, giving him apelling reason to strike.
Mu Chen vanished in an instant as he spoke and made his way to the deepest part of the Church Court, which is also the innermost part of the royal pce, where the Pope was likely to be.
Mu Chen had just descended and stealthily entered inside, traversing along the walls, ensuring he wouldn’t be easily sensed.
Mu Chen arrived at thergest building of the royal pce, the first floor held only guards, which he disregarded, and made his way directly to the second level. What he found was merely some pce maids; their figures were not bad, but one thing was clear – they were d just in nn and nk, their bodies otherwise left uncovered.
“Is this ce a brothel?” Mu Chen said helplessly, moving straight to the third floor.
On the third floor, Mu Chen saw a corpulent young man surrounded by a throng of women, their attire disheveled, serving the man’s pleasure.
Mu Chen witnessed the scars on the bodies of the women, the beatings and curses, all sorts of devastation, a sight too horrible to endure.
“Evil forces, there are evil people everywhere; such people, deserve to die.” Mu Chen dered, and through a balcony, he shed inside, mysteriously appearing before the portly young man, having passed by all others in the blink of an eye.
The women passed out, while the corpulent young man was seized by the throat by Mu Chen.
“Who are you?” the fat young man’s face turned pale with terror as he spoke.
“Cut the nonsense, if you don’t want to die, answer me one question – where is the Pope?”
“You know who I am, the son of the Pope, I am a Prince, you cannot touch me,” the portly young man said again.
“Should I show you the coffin before you cry?” Mu Chen roared, clenching the fat young man’s neck so tightly that blood began to flow.
“Don’t kill me, I’ll talk, I’ll talk,” the youngster begged.
“Hurry up, it’s yourst chance.”
“If I tell you, will you truly not kill me?” The corpulent young man’s face changed as he spoke.
“If you don’t tell me, you’ll die right now, with no ce for your body to rest.”
“I’ll tell, I’ll tell, the Pope is on the fifth floor; he’s always been in closed-door cultivation there, no one can enter,” the corpulent young man quickly added, truly frightened by Mu Chen.
“What is his strength?”
“I’m not sure.”
“Who knows?”
“It seems the Elder knows.”
“Where is the Elder?”
“In another pce, the one behind ours.”
“Thanks for the information.” Mu Chen said and immediately crushed the corpulent young man’s neck, killing him effortlessly, without batting an eye.
“You…” the portly young man died with his eyes wide open.
“The fifth floor,” Mu Chen muttered to himself and vanished in the blink of an eye.
Mu Chen quickly made his way to the fifth floor in secret; however, the fifth floor was shrouded by an energy that Mu Chen did not recognize, it was very strange.
“The legendary power of God’s Origin?” Mu Chen’s expression changed as he spected.
God exists in legends; to ordinary people, it is but a myth, yet to those who delve deeper, such things are clear – God truly exists, from the era of the Great God Pangu, whose contemporaries were more powerful than those of today.
“Tricky, if it is the Origin of God, it seems terrifying. Attacking now without knowing what’s inside could lead to unimaginable consequences,” Mu Chen said seriously, showing concern.
Mu Chen may be powerful, but he isn’t reckless enough to kill indiscriminately without considering the consequences.
“I’ll have to kill the Elder first, to learn about the Pope’s condition.” Mu Chen decided, vanishing once more.
Quickly, Mu Chen appeared within a pce, this one was smaller, and he easily entered, sensing the Elder’s presence and heading to where the breath was emanating from.
Soon enough, Mu Chen found someone sitting cross-legged in meditation on the second floor, an old man apparently in contemtion. When a strong man reaches the peak realm of Holy King, he can only be stronger through further enlightenment.
“The aura fluctuates around the Third Layer Heaven of Half Nihility,” Mu Chen frowned, sensing the man’s energy.
“I must take a gamble,” Mu Chen’s killing intent rose, intending to resolve the situation with brute physical power.
No matter where he was, using Divine Power or causing energy fluctuations would alert others to what was happening here, so he had to rely on physical strength so as not to draw attention.
Mu Chen’s own strength defined the strength of his flesh; it was inevitable as the Divine Dragon Body was constantly devouring energy. Whether it was Divine Power or other forms, once assimted into Mu Chen’s body, his physical level, he estimated, was probably equal to the Eighth Layer Heaven of Half Nihility, but unable to kill with one strike, it could be troublesome.
Mu Chen produced the Blood Dragon Saber in his hand, appearing in the blink of an eye with terrifying speed.
“Who’s there?” The Elder’s pupils changed as he was about to unleash his aura.
However, in the next instant Mu Chen had arrived, wielding the Blood Dragon Saber, attempting to y the Elder with one swing.
“Dodge!” The Elder’s face changed drastically as he dodged at great speed.
But he was a second too slow, his arm was cleanly severed.
A sinister smile appeared on Mu Chen’s face as he once again appeared behind the Elder, plunging the saber into his body, avoiding fatal wounds.
“Ah…” The Elder screamed in agony at once.
“Too noisy, Purple Needle.” Mu Chen quickly pierced the Elder’s body with a needle, silencing him and immobilizing himpletely.
“Next, you just need to shake or nod your head, nod for yes, understand?” Mu Chen instructed.
The Elder did not respond.
“Figured you’d be a tough nut to crack, but I’ll make you talk,” Mu Chen stated seriously.
And so, Mu Chen began the torture.
Every ten minutes he would ask once.
Every twenty minutes, again.
Forty minutester, the Elder finally agreed to tell everything.
Mu Chen allowed the Elder to speak.
“Just two questions, does the Pope have God’s Origin? And what level of strength does he possess?”
“The Pope received a part of God’s Origin, I’m not too clear on his strength, but I can say it’s around the Eighth Layer Heaven of Half Nihility, I don’t know the specifics.”
“Are you certain?”
“Positive, I wouldn’t dare to speak carelessly, please, give me a quick end.”
