Chapter 1899 - 2000: All-Out War in the Slums

Chapter 1899: Chapter 2000: All-Out War in the Slums

Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan became the military’s greatest enemies, because with every shot they fired, someone would fall.

A sharpshooter is like a sharp sword in the darkness, killing without a trace.

The military personnel first lost their footing, seeing an opportunity, the members of the Blood Alliance rushed out and fiercely fired at the convoy.

The military personnel also panicked, with many of them rushing out of their vehicles to start shooting.

They were somewhat familiar with the Blood Alliance, but had never shed before; only now did they realize the opponent’s firepower was so fierce, especially the two sharpshooters from high above, who seemed almost superhuman.

The Blood Alliance also suffered heavy losses, their formation disrupted, yet they fiercely pressed on.

This chaotic scenested for an hour, with both sides suffering heavy casualties.

The military considered retreating, as their main goal today was to transport supplies, and reinforcements could not arrive in time.

The Blood Alliance did not expect the opposition to be so stubborn, and they too considered retreating.

"Brother, it seems both sides have weakened their firepower, it looks like they want to retreat," Xiao Xuan said over the radio.

"Want to leave, huh, it’s a bitte for that," Xiang Yu said, taking down one person with a shot, then another aimed at the Blood Alliance.

"Instruct the brothers to blockade the intersections, allow no one through, especially vehicles," Xiang Yumanded.

Xiao Xuan knew his men could finally take action; he quickly ryed the order.

The guardsmen had long been ready; upon receiving Xiao Xuan’s orders, they scattered many iron caltrops on the streets, then used wood to block the roads, making them impassable for vehicles.

By this time, the firepower from both the military and Blood Alliance had weakened, showing signs of a ceasefire.

However, Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan didn’t stop, and showed no mercy in killing anyone who wasn’t their own, regardless of affiliation.

The leader of the Blood Alliance obviously noticed this too; he shouted on the radio for a long time, but there was no response.

"Damn it, this is going too far, hear mymand, prepare to retreat!" the leader shouted.

The Blood Alliance began to gather downstairs, which presented an opportunity for Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan.

One shot for each target, showing no intention of stopping.

The members of the Blood Alliance were frightened, scared that the next one to fall could be themselves.

"Retreat," the leader shouted from the middle of the crowd, then looked for his vehicle to escape.

Many of their men had fallen, leaving less than forty percent surviving, a heavy loss indeed.

When they reached the intersection, they suddenly found their car had a t tire, and obstacles blocked their way.

"Damn it, get out of the car, into the buildings," the leader realized the danger and quickly jumped out to scramble into a building.

But at that moment, all the buildings had their doors closed in unison, making entry no easy task.

Meanwhile, on the rooftops, Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan continued shooting without pause.

The Blood Alliance members began to panic, the unprecedented danger caused them to lose their minds.

They originally thought they had everything under control, but hadn’t expected the military’s response to be so swift.

At the same time, the military was not faring much better; they found themselves blocked from every street they tried to pass and had to attempt detours.

Furious, the military personnel fired indiscriminately, causing many civilians to suffer.

Eck, hiding in the shadows with his people, gnawed his teeth in anger;cking weapons, they could only create chaos.

And without Xiang Yu’s orders, he couldn’t lead his brothers into action.

After venting, the military exited their vehicles to clear the obstructions.

At this moment, people inside the buildings began throwing random debris down, causing no real damage to the soldiers.

Seeing this, the soldiers could only sneer in contempt; it was as futile as trying to stop a chariot with bare hands.

Eck quickly reported the situation to Xiang Yu, who understood the urgency; if they didn’t quickly stop them, these people would escape.

Today, aftermitting such crimes, Xiang Yu didn’t want them to leave easily.

Under Xiang Yu’s orders, the guardsmen moved in, instructed not to engage directly but to shoot anyone leaving their vehicle, and trail any that did.

The guardsmen responded swiftly, arriving just as the military was clearing obstacles.

They quickly found cover and opened fire on those under the vehicles.

Their aim wasn’t precise, but collective firepower was enough to take out the enemy.

The guardsmen, being locals, were not only familiar with the terrain but also had grassroots support; residents backed them wherever they entered.

Seeing the road blocked, the military turned to another direction to escape.

The guardsmen followed closely, ensuring they couldn’t leave easily.

On the Blood Alliance’s side, they were scattered on the streets, some hiding in buildings but once inside, no further word was heard.

Now, they were jumping at their own shadows.

Adding to that, the two sharpshooters on the rooftop continued their relentless assault, driving them to the brink of copse.

They never anticipated such an inexplicable force would emerge.

The militia was tasked with tracking the Blood Alliance members; any stragglers were promptly eliminated.

The Blood Alliance was unfamiliar with the terrain andcked local support, and soon, their numbers dwindled drastically.

In the end, only about twenty remained, cautiously trying to move towards the outskirts of the city.

By this time, Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan had run out of bullets, discarding their rifles to descend.

Eck, excited, approached Xiang Yu, "Brother Yu, only these twenty are left, but they’re sticking together, making it hard to target them."

Xiang Yu nodded, "How many weapons have we gathered?"

Whether Blood Alliance or military, their dead left behind weapons for Eck and his men to collect after taking them down.

"Quite a lot, but the key is, our brothers don’t know how to use them yet," Eck said with some excitement.

The militia hadn’t been trained in firearm use, even if armed, they couldn’t wield them effectively.

"Distribute the guns, they can learn quickly, betterte than never," Xiang Yu said with a cold gleam in his eyes.

Eck nodded rapidly, signaling for the collected guns to be distributed among their ranks.

There were enough guns for everyone to have one.

"Let’s go, follow me," Xiang Yu said, looking over the group, then led them down another street, running off into the distance...
