Chapter 1822: Chapter 1823: Xiang Yu’s Greatest Enemy

"Does the van carry your team?" Xiang Yu asked casually.
Xia Cheng didn’t hide anything from Xiang Yu and said, "I just called Commander Cao. He was surprised to know I’m alive."
Xia Cheng smiled bitterly and continued, "He told me we have a team over there and wants me to go."
"Commander Cao, huh," Xiang Yu smiled and asked, "Did he mention Zhong Min?"
The reason Xiang Yu kept Xia Cheng here was to eventually capture Commander Cao.
Hua Xia No. 1 had tasked Xiang Yu with a mission. A mysterious force was nning to disrupt the parade in Hua Xia, and Xiang Yu suspected that Commander Cao and his group were this force.
Also, he wanted to find Zhong Min.
Xia Cheng nced at Xiang Yu and smiled, "You still can’t forget her."
Xiang Yu didn’t say much, just smiled and sat on the sofa, then poured a cup of water for Xia Cheng.
Xia Cheng sat down, took a sip of water, and said, "Since you saved me, I might as well tell you."
Xiang Yu’s heart skipped a beat. His instincts told him Xia Cheng was about to share something he didn’t know.
"Last time when I returned, Commander Cao suspected Zhong Min of being a spy, so he put her under house arrest," Xia Cheng said.
Xiang Yu’s heart trembled; he had expected this kind of oue. But his face showed no reaction.
Xia Cheng kept staring at Xiang Yu. Seeing no reaction, he felt a bit disappointed inside.
"Don’t you want to save her?" Xia Cheng asked, puzzled.
Xiang Yu shook his head with a bitter smile and said, "I can hardly protect myself now. The army is watching me closely. If I go out now, I’ll probably get caught."
Xia Cheng thought it over and agreed. Xiang Yu could barely protect himself and had no time to worry about others.
"Why note with me to Xia Xu? We have some brothers over there. You can join us, and we’ll make our way together," Xia Cheng said earnestly to Xiang Yu.
Actually, Xia Cheng wasn’t entirely sure, as he hadn’t been in Xia Xu. If Xiang Yu joined him, he’d at least have some leverage.
"Really?" Xiang Yu asked expectantly.
"Of course," Xia Cheng quickly replied, seeing Xiang Yu’s interest. "Once we get there, I’ll look out for you. Whatever I, Xia Cheng, have, you’ll have too, Xiang Yu."
Xiang Yu appeared very enthusiastic, looking expectantly at Tie Zhuzi and the others, "Brothers, what do you think?"
Tie Zhuzi, knowing he wasn’t good with words, sat silently.
Little Xuan said, "Wherever you go, I’ll follow."
"Me too," Tie Zhuzi said straightforwardly.
Wu Jing sat there with his head down, not speaking.
"Wu Jing, what’s your n?" Xiang Yu asked.
"Brother Yu, I don’t want to go," Wu Jing replied seriously, looking up.
Xiang Yu pondered briefly, then looked at Xia Cheng, "Give me some time to think. Once I’ve made a decision, I’ll let you know."
"It’s a rare opportunity. It’s not like we’ll make any progress here. Come with me, and we’ll build a kingdom together," Xia Cheng said passionately.
"I’ll think about it carefully," Xiang Yu nodded earnestly.
"Alright, take your time. I’ll be waiting for your news," Xia Cheng said and stood up, ncing at Wu Jing before turning to leave.
After Xia Cheng left, Tie Zhuzi nearly burst outughing. Their group’s acting was just too good.
Xiang Yu leaned back tiredly on the sofa, lost in thought.
"Brother, don’t worry. Sister Zhong Min will be fine," Little Xuanforted him upon seeing this.
Tie Zhuzi also noticed the gloom on Xiang Yu’s face and quickly stopped fooling around, saying, "Since Xia Cheng knows that bastard Commander Cao’s address, we can just go over and rescue Sister Zhong Min."
Xiang Yu leaned tiredly on the sofa and shook his head, "It’s not that simple. Clearly, Xia Cheng didn’t want to say anything, and perhaps he doesn’t know the exact location either."
Tie Zhuzi was about to continue talking when Wu Jing pulled him aside, signaling him to stop, "Brother Yu, you should rest for a bit."
After Wu Jing spoke, he pulled Tie Zhuzi and Little Xuan towards the exit.
Tie Zhuzi was thest to leave, and he closed Xiang Yu’s door before turning around and grumbling to Wu Jing, "Why did you stop me? The issue is right here. If we can get Xia Cheng, that bastard, to spill, we won’t have to go through so much trouble."
Wu Jing, worried others might overhear, pulled Tie Zhuzi outside.
All three sat on the rocks outside. Wu Jing frowned, "Someone who can trouble Brother Yu this much means Commander Cao isn’t simple. You think he’d trust someone like Xia Cheng? Xia Cheng probably doesn’t know Commander Cao’s exact address either. If we pressure Xia Cheng, we’ll just alert the enemy."
Little Xuan nodded, "Right, we need to find out the exact location before acting. Otherwise, it will only alert the enemy."
"Oh man, what a mess. I don’t get it," Tie Zhuzi impatiently stood up and walked back to the base.
"Pir, don’t mess up Brother Yu’s big ns," Wu Jing shouted after him.
Tie Zhuzi didn’t seem to hear and went inside.
Wu Jing sighed and shook his head. He looked at Little Xuan, "When we get over there, make sure to protect Brother Yu."
"Don’t worry. As long as I’m alive, nothing will happen to Brother Yu," Little Xuan promised, eyes full of determination.
Wu Jing nodded. He knew that, given how Little Xuan felt about Xiang Yu, he would never let anything happen to him.
"And one more thing, keep an eye on the Pir. Don’t let him cause trouble," Wu Jing said.
"Though he’s simple-minded, he knows what’s important. There shouldn’t be any issue," Little Xuan replied.
As they were chatting, someone hurriedly ran over and said, "Captain, you bettere quickly. Brother Pir has beaten up that outsider."
Wu Jing and Little Xuan were both shocked, then quickly ran inside.
As soon as they entered, they heard the sound of Xia Cheng screaming.
"Pir, stop," Wu Jing shouted as he ran over.
Only to see Tie Zhuzi pinning Xia Cheng down and pping him on the face.
Wu Jing hurried forward and pulled Tie Zhuzi off. Concerned that Tie Zhuzi might say something he shouldn’t, Wu Jing shouted, "What are you doing?"
"I just don’t like him," Tie Zhuzi replied begrudgingly.
"You, you..." Xia Cheng stood up, covering his face and too angry to speak.
Tie Zhuzi red at him, then stormed off outside.
Wu Jing nodded apologetically at Xia Cheng, then ran out with Little Xuan.
"What were you thinking?" Wu Jing asked, pulling Tie Zhuzi into his room.
"Nothing, just felt annoyed and wanted to vent," Tie Zhuzi replied, defiantly.
Wu Jing knew Tie Zhuzi only listened to Xiang Yu. He had no choice but to ask, "You didn’t reveal Brother Yu’s ns, did you?"
"Hmph," Tie Zhuzi gave Wu Jing a side-eye and theny down on the bed to sleep...
