    Now Tie Zhuzi had already started organizing the retreat, confiscating all the weapons from the small Pa army, and made the soldiers strip off their clothes.

    Themander was startled and immediately crouched down, holding his head. Others realized there was an ambush and also crouched, raising their hands.


    Nearby, Xiaoxuan smirked, then shouldered the sniper rifle and left.


    Undeniably, Tie Zhuzi’s method proved effective. Without clothes, these soldiers felt insecure; just one bullet made everyone obey and crouch.


    Just as Xiaoxuan left, a dozen helicopters were rapidly approaching from afar.


    The helicopters dared not fly low, fearing a shell might suddenly appear from the woods.


    Soon, armored vehicles came roaring from the distance, but they had lost contact with the on-scenemander and were unsure about the situation.

    His soldiers had stretched themander’s patience thin; he pointed and yelled, "What are you doing?"


    "There’s a sniper nearby! Commander, hide!" Themander, still pinned, said fearfully.


    Realizing the urgency, the thirdmander retreated back into the armored vehicle and ordered a search.


    But there was no trace of anyone nearby.


    The thirdmander epted defeat; he didn’t linger, leaving quickly with his team.


    If other units learned about his troops getting stripped, it would ruin him as well.


    Back at the base, he assigned the recon team to track down Xiang Yu and his troop.


    While he securedly rode to the presidential pce under the guard’s protection.


    It was early dawn when he reached the pce; Ailock was awake, resting on the sofa in his office.


    "Chief."


    Themander lowered his head upon meeting Ailock.


    Seeing themander in distress, Ailock inferred the problem, shook his head, and sighed, "Seems I was wrong."


    "Chief, I was careless. I underestimated their capability. Now I’m having the recon team investigate," themander scowled.


    "Tell me what happened," Ailock asked.

    Xiang Yu and his men dashed back to Base One overnight, with Xiaoxuan’s shadow team trailing to ensure no followers.
