Capítulo 1567: Chapter 1568: The Enemy Deploys Rockets
“Xiang Yu, what’s happening over there?” Cheng Wn pointed suspiciously to the rooftop behind Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu turned his head, and his heart immediately tightened. He shouted, “Rocket! Jump down quickly.”
He grabbed Tie Zhuzi and jumped down.
Cheng Wn didn’t hesitate and followed him down. Though it was high, it was better than getting blown up.
As soon as they jumped, rockets came shooting in from three different directions.
The rockets exploded on the rooftop where they had just been, ttening it instantly.
Concrete and debris started falling down from above.
Worried for Cheng Wn, Xiang Yu kicked her in the backside, sending her rolling down the stairs.
Tie Zhuzi shielded Xiang Yu above him, afraid something might fall and hit him.
“You go down too.” Xiang Yu forcefully pushed Tie Zhuzi down the stairs.
“Brother Yu,” Tie Zhuzi called out, clearly unwilling, but Xiang Yu’s strength was formidable, and he couldn’t resist.
Just then, falling debris and dust rained down and buried Xiang Yu.
Cheng Wn and Tie Zhuzi rolled down the stairs, getting bruised and bloodied, almost fainting.
Tie Zhuzi fared a bit better and stubbornly climbed up to look, only to see Xiang Yu buried there.
“Brother Yu!” Tie Zhuzi shouted, running back up, his body covered in blood and already injured.
Cheng Wn, disoriented, could only vaguely recall someone kicking her backside before she rolled down.
She shook her head and surveyed the scene.
The surroundings were chaotic, dust swirling, and when she looked up, stars were visible in the sky.
Seeing Tie Zhuzi running back up frantically, she finally realized Xiang Yu must be buried.
“Xiang Yu,” she cried, tears streaming down. If anything happened to Xiang Yu, she would surely follow him.
“Don’t scare me, Brother Yu, you’ll be okay,” Tie Zhuzi dug desperately.
Cheng Wn joined him, doing the same.
“Xiang Yu, nothing must happen to you,” Cheng Wn mumbled, trembling.
Xie San stood atop the rooftop, watching the explosion, and snorted coldly, signaling everyone to check if Xiang Yu’s team was dead.
Xie San hadn’t expected dealing with them would cost so much, even using rockets, which felt humiliating.
Just then, someone reported to Xie San.
“Commander, a team seems to be approaching from the south?”
Xie San paused, then asked, “Is it our team?”
“Uncertain,” the person shook their head.
“How many?”
“Over twenty vehicles.”
Upon hearing this, Xie San stood and looked. Indeed, vehicles were parked there, but hadn’t approached, seemingly waiting.
Inside the building, Tie Zhuzi was tirelessly digging through concrete, his hands bleeding, but he felt nothing.
Cheng Wn was just as relentless.
“What the hell are you two doing?” Just then, Xiang Yu’s voice suddenly sounded.
Tie Zhuzi and Cheng Wn froze, then looked towards the dust.
They saw Xiang Yu quietly lying there, his body covered in dust and blood-soaked grime.
“Brother Yu!”
“Xiang Yu!”
They both cried out in relief.
“I knew you’d be okay, Brother Yu,” Tie Zhuziughed, red-eyed, showing his concern moments ago.
“Brother, did you hear? I’m back,”
Xiaoxuan said over the radio.
Tie Zhuzi nearly swore, then said, “You should have returned earlier, Brother Yu almost got blown up.”
Xiang Yu, Cheng Wn: “…”
Xiaoxuan was hiding nearby, not rushing in, having heard the explosions, but didn’t expect Xiang Yu was targeted.
Xiang Yu’s wireless earbud was lost, so he used Tie Zhuzi’s, asking, “How are Wu Jing and the team?”
“They’re on standby outside,” Xiaoxuan, worried at Xiang Yu’s weak voice, apologized, “Brother, are you okay? Sorry I’mte.”
Xiaoxuan had hurried back but still feltte.
Though he didn’t enter, he saw the chaos from afar; the tallest building was ttened, showing the intensity.
“I’m fine, don’t worry,” Xiang Yu optimistically replied.
“Hey, Brother Yu, can you hear me?” Wu Jing’s voice chimed in.
Xiaoxuan shared the radio channel, and Wu Jing adjusted his radio.
“Wu Jing, how’s everyone?” Xiang Yu asked, concerned.
“Brother Yu, no casualties, and we’re well-stocked and waiting for your orders,” Wu Jing responded efficiently.
His squad, Tianlong, was gathered, feeling a murderous urge seeing their ce in ruins.
Xiang Yu nodded in satisfaction, saying, “Themander here is Xie San, very capable. He has fewer than a hundred men, rgely around Cheng Wn’s vi…”
Xiang Yu quickly analyzed the situation as footsteps ascended below.
Tie Zhuzi searched desperately for a gun, finding none, then raised arge stone for defense.
“Wu Jing, split the team into two; one takes the rooftop, the other fires around to pressure them out,” Xiang Yu instructed.
They were in an urban battle with many hiding spots, potentially dangerous if ambushed.
With his team back, Xiang Yu held the advantage, avoiding a prolonged fight till morning.
“Got it, Brother Yu, moving now,” Wu Jing replied promptly.
Fresh from a mission, Wu Jing relied on Xiang Yu’s directives, unclear about the chaos.
“Xiaoxuan, find a vantage point to adapt,” Xiang Yumanded.
“Understood, Brother, stay safe,” Xiaoxuan replied, heading to the nearby vi entrance.
Originally, Tie Zhuzi hid here.
Meanwhile, Xie San’s men reached their stairs…
