Chapter 302: Chapter 244: ’The Omnipotent’ Fighter (Please subscribe!) _2

While crossing an intersection, the soldier suddenly spoke in English: "Driver, you have taken the wrong way, turn right ahead."
Chai Ren and Liu Qian were not angry, they were simply surprised that the soldier could speak English so fluently and were curious as to why they were being instructed to take a right turn.
"Turn right to where?" the ck driver asked in confusion.
The soldier continued: "The nearest high-end car rental is about 1.3 miles straight ahead on the right, the route you’re taking is wrong."
"NO NO NO, there’s no rental ce there," the ck driver denied, shaking his head. He had no good intentions himself, but he honestly hadn’t heard of a rental ce there.
The soldier replied coolly: "It just openedst Friday, apart from that, to reach any other eligible nearest car rental would take 5.3 miles. So, now, please turn right at the intersection ahead."
"The ce I was going to take you is cheaper," the ck driver quickly said, as he didn’t want to lose these customers.
"Turn right ahead, follow my instructions."
The soldier gave the ck driver a cold stare, which nearly made him m on the brakes.
"You, if there isn’t, you’ll have to pay me double the fare," the ck driver retorted angrily.
"No problem," the soldier replied dispassionately. It wasn’t that the soldier was nosy or that the rental was opened by another soldier, but the initial soldiers that came over had shared data from all the police stations in New York and a considerable part of the poption records. Therefore the moment they saw the license te, they pulled up all the information from Little Two’s database which included the owner’s information.
If it were an ordinary person, it wouldn’t matter. But the owner of this car had repeatedly tricked foreigners who rented cars into specific rental spots, and those cars had problems. That’s why the soldier intervened. He had no interest in helping them rent a car, his job was to ensure safety, which naturally includes the safety of their transportation. They can’t risk renting some junk cars.
A model of the entire New York City had been constructed in themand room, bined with the government’s registration information and the image data collected on-site, they would update it every half month. Said inly, two soldiers would patrol all the streets of New York every half month, and it would take two days for two soldiers toplete the task, with a rtively ’low’ efficiency. Map updates were on Saturdays.
As for the distance, it was easy to calcte.
Didn’t they have the tracker before? This tracking and positioning device that could be urate to a millimeter, just one of these could establish something simr to a coordinate system. Every soldier was like they already had a tracker; it was very convenient to measure distance. The measurement error ofrge targets did not exceed ten centimeters.
Quite practical. Completely abandoning things like GPS.
Liu Qian and Chai Ren were surprised, it seemed that this soldier was quite familiar with this ce.
The ck driver didn’t dare to argue anymore, soon, under the soldier’s instructions, they took a turn, and arge car rental was standing there, looking like it had all sorts of luxury cars, it was quite big.
The soldier paid and got out of the car, the fare naturally came from Liu Qian, considered as pocket money, paying the fare obviously fell into this category.
The ck driver had an expression like he had been forced to eat shit.
"Have you been here before?" Chai Ren asked curiously. Liu Qian didn’t say anything. He knew that the soldier had been in Bangkok protecting Tang Kai these few days, how could he fly here.
"No, I heard about it," the soldier replied nonchntly.
"FUCK" With their backs turned, the ck driver raised his middle finger.
This immediately made the two men and the three bodyguards turn to re at the driver. No one acted rashly, after all this is America, who knows if there’s a gun in the driver’s car, they didn’t dare to be too aggressive, avoiding causing any trouble. This is not China, where you can smooth over anything.
The soldier by their side chuckled coldly, leaned on the window, the ck driver wasn’t scared of this foreigner daring to hit him, ring at the soldier maliciously, as if challenging him to make his move. The soldier casually spoke: "Eddie Spa, didn’t you get enough trouble with that incident with Big Shot Murkst time?"
This sentence shocked the pleased ck driver into silence. How would this stranger know about this? Last time a big-shot figure had an urgent matter and took his car, the name was Murk, then he took a detour and dyed this person’s business, the result is predictable. He was severely beaten up after he reached his destination and almost died there. He was hospitalized for more than a month before he got out, not many people know about this incident, either it was the hooligans, him being a loner, he hadn’t even informed any friends, no, there were also police.
"How... how do you know about that?" the ck driver asked nervously. No matter which way, he didn’t dare to threaten the soldier anymore.
"Get out."
The soldier showed no interest in answering his question.
"Yes, I’m leaving right away, I wish you a pleasant journey," the ck driver immediately said respectfully and then drove away as fast as he could. He didn’t want to risk another encounter, no matter what the Asian-faced soldier’s identity was.
They were all curious about what the soldier said to the driver, the once arrogant ck driver was now respectfully going away. Could it be that the people behind this bodyguard have power here?
Was he that powerful?
Chai Ren was even more curious about him, and Liu Qian was a bit puzzled too.
Next, they went in to choose a car to rent, settling on a Lincoln stretch and a Cadic off-road vehicle. Although it was a bit expensive, both of these guys didn’tck money, they both chose the most expensive options. Paying the bill, of course, fell to Liu Qian.
"Do you have drivers here?" Chai Ren asked the amodating young male manager.
"Mr. Liu, I have a driver’s license in the United States."
The soldier volunteered to be the driver before the manager could speak, arguing that hiring a bodyguard added anotheryer of risk, so he took the initiative to drive under the security rules.
"..."
Everyone looked at the soldier in surprise, thinking to themselves: How are you everywhere?
But in the end, they did hire a driver because someone needs to drive the off-road vehicle. Even though Chai Ren holds an American driver’s license, who would dare let him drive?
The group climbed into the vehicle. The two big shotsfortably seated in the back, and a bodyguard of Chai Ren, sat beside the soldier in the co-pilot seat. Seeing the bodyguard’s somewhat restrained demeanor, Chai Ren couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Mr. Liu, where to?" asked the soldier. Even though Chai Ren was the boss here, he held no distinct position in the soldier’s eyes.
Liu Qian looked at Chai Ren.
"Let’s find a hotel first, the Hilton isn’t bad, I have a VIP card with them. Do you know the way?" Chai Ren said.
"Sure," the soldier replied, nodding his head.
The ride started smoothly, and the soldier’s driving skills earned unanimous praise from the group.
About ten minutester, without consulting any maps, the soldier skillfully navigated a maze of turns to the nearest Hilton Hotel. It was only then that the group truly believed the soldier’s familiarity with New York.
...
Upon entering the Hilton Hotel, they booked tworge suites, both with two bedrooms each.
Liu Qian thought he’d had enough surprises for the day.
But it wasn’t over yet.
Shortly after entering the room
"Knock, Knock, Knock."
A knock at the door sounded. Monkey was about to open the door when the soldier intercepted him, "Friend."
Monkey was curious as to how he knew a friend was at the door. Was it the knocking pattern or frequency?
The soldier opened the door and a stern-face Caucasian man, dressed in a suit and wearing sunsses, stood at the door holding a box. Without saying a word, he handed the box to the soldier and turned to leave.
The soldier shut the door and ced the box on the table.
"Brother Yuan, what is this?" asked Liu Qian curiously.
"Weapons," the soldier replied, and he unsealed the box.
Inside were two pistols and four fully loaded magazines. The shiny golden bullets were startlingly ’eye-catching’.
Liu Qian and Monkey were both taken aback.
"What...What...What’s the meaning of this?" Liu Qian stammered.
"Mr. Liu, thew and order here is not that good, these long-range weapons could better protect your safety," the soldier calmly exined.
"Aren’t you afraid the American police will find out?" Liu Qian voiced out his concern.
"I have a valid gun permit," the soldier said.
"..."
They had grown numb to the soldier’s nearly ’invincible’ capabilities, especially that huge Caucasian man, who probably worked for that friend, right? How powerful is this friend?
Could it be that their influence in America was not insignificant?
Ignoring the other two, the soldier tucked the gun into his waistband, ced the magazine in his pocket, and put away the box. Monkey really wanted a gun but since he didn’t have a permit, he couldn’t ask for one.
Upon finishing all of these, the soldier stood silently guarding in the most suitable spot.
Liu Qian and Monkey feltpletely overwhelmed.
