    “You have one minute toe over and open the door,”


    Fu Rongyin clearly didn’t believe her.


    Chi Yue wasn’t in a good mood today and didn’t n to see him, “I’ve alreadyid down, let’s talk about whatever it is tomorrow.”

    In the darkness, Chi Yue remained silent.


    Eventually, she admitted defeatpletely.


    Without turning on the light, she groped her way to the entrance and opened the door.

    “What are you doing?”


    The aloof and noble man took her hands away, “Where did Lin Yibin touch you?”


    Chi Yue opened her eyes, “He didn’t touch me anywhere, it was Fu Rao who helped me.”


    Fu Rongyin rolled up her pajama sleeve, revealing a bruised wrist, “This wasn’t done by Lin Yibin, it was Fu Rao who did this?”

    Chi Yue couldn’t figure out his current mindset and, not wanting to offend him, she simply recounted the events of the evening.

    Chi Yue still couldn’t gauge his thoughts, and not daring to speak, she could only wait quietly for him to say something.

    “What are they saying out there?”


    “Yueyue, you’re in big trouble.


    Really, how could this matter have gotten soplicated?


    Wait at home, I’ming over right away.”


    Without waiting for Chi Yue to respond, Nan Bingyu hung up the phone.


    Chi Yue didn’t understand why Nan Bingyu was in such a rush.


    Finally having a weekend to herself, and having gone to bedte the night before, she burrowed into the nkets to continue sleeping.


    She waster awoken by the sound of knocking at the door.


    Upon opening the door, Nan Bingyu burst in and pulled her outside.


    “You’reing home with me right now.


    The Qin Family wouldn’t dare to be so bold as toe to my home to make demands.”


    Chi Yue was confused, “What happened?”


    Nan Bingyu exined, “Lin Yibin was beaten upst night and is now lying in the hospital.


    Everyone is saying that it was Fu Rao who arranged it, and now both the Qin Family and the Lin Family are taking their anger out on you.”


    Chi Yue: “…”


    Even though she was the actual victim, she had somehow be the target of collective anger.


    Once inside Nan Bingyu’s car, Chi Yue finally said, “It couldn’t have been Fu Rao.”


    With Qin Anlu presentst night, not to mention it was unlikely for Fu Rao to do something to protect her, even if he wanted to, it would depend on whether Qin Anlu would allow him to.
