The sarcasm in his voice got thicker. “Long time no see. How’d you end up being someone’s sidekick, losing your basic male wolf stance?”
“Ampelio!” Ellen’s face was red with rage, the fur on his neck bristled, and his aura red. “That’s enough!”
“Whatever,” Ampelio waved a hand, looking annoyed, but his contempt was clear.
“I was just trying to be a good guy and remind your master not to get scared. If you, her little flunky, don’t even care about her, then fine, I’ll shut up.”
Ellen was shaking with fury. His wolf ws instantly grew three inches, and he drew back his fist to smash Ampelio’s face, but Adide grabbed his wrist.
Her cedarwood scent was calming, silently suppressing Ellen’s chaotic emotions.
“Gamma Adide!” Ellen red at Ampelio, a suppressed wolf howl rumbling in his throat. “He’s
gone too far! Let me teach him a lesson!”
Ampelio snorted withughter, his contempt practically visible. “She won’t let you hit me, can’t you see that?”
He even let out a small burst of beta aura to provoke Ellen.
Adide’s eyes were cold as ice. Her cedarwood scent suddenly turned sharp.
She told Ellen, “You’re both the same rank. You can’t hit him.”
The moment she let <i>go </i>of Ellen’s wrist, the tip of her footpleted a partial shift–silver- blue wolf fur shed at her ankle–and she kicked Ampelio hard in the stomach.
Adide was incredibly fast. Ampelio didn’t even see her foot lift. He felt a searing, organ- shaking pain in his abdomen.
The Alpha aura exploded from the contact point.
Along with the pain came a brutal force that sent him flying backward, crashing hard against the courtyard wall.

Bricks rattled and fell. The shock from the dominance numbed the nd on the back of his neck, making it agonizing to breathe.
Ampelio fought through the pain, his fury instantly overriding his sense.
His aggression spiked, his scent bing overwhelming. Ignoring all rank and respect, he lunged at Adide like a cornered animal.
But before he could even graze her clothing, pain hit his left cheek, then his right. Two precise, heavy punchesnded, and he didn’t even see her fists move.
His gums were numb. His vertical pupils shrank in shock and pain.
Adide, who had been unfailingly polite since returning to the capital, showed no mercy

To make sure Ampelio saw the lesson, she let the faint, light–blue w marks of her partial shift appear on her fingers. She grabbed his chest and yanked him toward her.
She drew back her other fist.
Even as Ampelio frantically tried to block and release his aura, Adide’s Alpha aura surged higher, an invisible barrier that slowed his every move.
She easily slipped past his defense, and her fistnded squarely on his face.
Every punch was backed by wolf strength, making his cheeks swell rapidly.
Then, under Ampelio’s horrified gaze, Adide’s demeanor turned deadly cold. She suddenly kicked him.
This kick wasn’t just powerful; it was wrapped in a subtle aura.
Ampelio was sent flying like a rag doll, crashing into the courtyard wall with a loud, dull impact before slumping to the ground.
This time, he saw Adide’s moves clearly, but he still couldn’t evade her.
Her leg–lift seemed slow, and her foot wasn’t moving that fast, but mid–air, a wolf’s explosive power kicked in, dramatically elerating her speed.
She also perfectly anticipated the direction he tried to dodge. <fnb8dd> ?? ??? ???? ?? ???? ???? ???????s, ????s? ??s?? FιndNovel</fnb8dd>
He could only watch as he was punched and kicked again, powerless to fight back.

Ampelio’s face was the color of a bruised plum, half from the pain, half because his dignity had been utterly pulverized.
Those two kicks were brutal. They shook his insides and threw his wolf power into chaos. He couldn’t muster any strength, and his vertical wolf eyes slowly reverted to human pupils out of weakness.
Adide calmly brushed off her sleeve. Her aura receded, leaving only a quiet, undeniable authority.
She met Jess’s stunned gaze, her voice as t as if nothing had happened. “Let’s start. I’m here to supervise.”
Jess looked at the cold light remaining in Adide’s eyes, then at the defeated Ampelio on the ground.
His shock morphed into profound awe.
He realized now that this Gamma wasn’t just high–ranking; her strength was far beyond ordinary. He quickly bowed. “Yes, Gamma Adide!”
Ampelio was helped up by the Royal Guard members. The head he usually held so high was now involuntarily bowed under Adide’s stare, as if an invisible weight was forcing it down.
He didn’t dare release a trace of scent, only ncing fearfully at Adide out of the corner of his eye.
They walked inside and saw Madison pinned to the ground, screaming hysterically and unleashing vicious curses.
She spewed every insult she could think of at Adide.
