His words were clearly meant for Lycan Erasmus.

By saying that Adide guarding the capital made it impossible for traitors to seed, he was also implying something else.
What if Adide rebelled? Wouldn’t the reinforcements outside be unable to get in?

After Lance left the interrogation room, Dennis walked in and sat down.
“Madison, I’m not here to ask about the treason case. We found multiple bodies and dozens of infant remains in the ancient well of your manor. We’ve already interrogated your servants, and they all say you killed these people. Do you plead guilty?”
Madison coldly nced at Dennis, silent, her expression full of contempt.
