Third Person’s POV
Caldwell suddenly recalled something and said to Lance, “Alpha Lance, Lycan Erasmus might have known about themotion at Madison’s mansion tonight. Lycan rissa sent holy water and floral tributes, which drew manydies to Madison’s princess mansion.”
“I’m aware of that; I saw it happen,” Lance replied.
At that moment, Ivy arrived with the food at the study door and respectfully announced their presence.
Adide quickly responded, “Bring it in.”
The meal consisted of three dishes–two meat–based and one vegetable— apanied by a creamy soup and staple food.
After Ivy and her team served the food and exited, she gently closed the study door.
Lance immediately rolled up his sleeves and began eating earnestly; the difort of an empty stomach was all too familiar.
Adide watched him eat with a tinge of sympathy in her eyes and softly advised, “Don’t eat too quickly.”
“Alright,” Lance said, looking up at Adide with a smile. “As
<i>you </i>wish.”
After a few sips of soup, Lance continued eating and said, “This case will likely be handed over to the Ministry of Justice. Once I finish eating, I need to freshen up and prepare for the royal meeting. The impact of this incident is enormous–it will undoubtedly shock the entire royal family and the Elder Council. Ask me anything you need to know now.”
“Focus on eating and don’t talk; you might choke otherwise,” Adide cautioned.
In truth, the group had no pressing questions. <fn33b1> Readplete version only at Find~Novel</fn33b1>

As Lance savored a delicious bite of meat, he suddenly remembered something and said, “By the way, it was Ulrik who found those weapons.”
“It was him?” Paisley said with a hint of dismay. “Doesn’t that mean he’ll get all the credit?”
“This recognition isn’t undeserved. He was severely injured in the confrontation. If Ellen had arrived anyter, Ulrik might not have made it,” Lance exined.
Caldwell interjected, “This mission wasn’t just about rescue; it uncovered a significant conspiracy. Since the ckthorn Pack can’t im the credit, it’s only right that those who risked their lives receive it. Let’s drop the subject. Alpha Lance, finish your meal.”
Caldwell wanted to avoid embarrassing Adide by dwelling on Ulrik’s actions, so he urged Lance to hurry up and eat. Lance’s scent was overwhelmingly strong, and Caldwell was eager for him to wash up.
Paisley, however, remained discontented. “I can’t stand the idea of Ulrik getting credit for our n. Even if Ellen takes some of the praise, it’s better than letting Ulrik have it all.”
She couldn’t forget how Ulrik had wronged Adide and schemed to seize her
assets.
Despite their time on the battlefield together, Paisley viewed Ulrik as a different breed and held him in lifelong disdain.
Caldwell chuckled and said, “Ellen will certainly receive recognition too. Ulrik wasn’t alone in the dungeon, so there’s no need to dwell on this.”
Paisley turned to Adide and asked, “Does it bother you?”
Adide shook her head. “To be honest, recalling the past feels like remembering a past life–so distant that I almost think I never joined the Bloodmoon Pack and that ‘Ulrik‘ sounds like a stranger’s name. If that’s the case, I’ll treat him as a stranger from now on.”
Paisley reluctantly agreed, “Fine, let’s consider him a stranger–a detestable one.”

With a smile ying on his lips, Lance finished his meal in a pleasant mood. “Alright, since there are no more questions, let’s call it a night.”
Everyone retired to their rooms.
After a bath, as Lance was drying off, visitors from the ckthorn Pack arrived.
A messenger from the pce hade to summon him immediately.
It seemed Ellen had already reported the events.
Lance pulled Adide close. “Get some rest. You have to visit the Frostfang Pack tomorrow and meet with Ramona.”
Adide looked at his weary face. “You’ve worked hard these past few days. The Ministry of Justice will be busy with this case.”
He kissed her forehead. “At least we’ve neutralized one of Germain’s key supports in the capital. Without Madison, Germain will have to rethink many of his ns.”
Adide replied, “But convincing him to abandon rebellion won’t be easy.”
“Then we’ll dismantle his ns one by one,” Lance said, adjusting his top hat. “I’m off. Can’t keep Lycan Erasmus waiting.”
“Go ahead,” Adide said, watching him disappear into the night before yawning and turning in.
Lance drove directly to the pce.
“Alpha Lance!” Fabian hurried down. “Go on in. Lycan Erasmus and Cyrus are waiting for you.”
In Lycan Erasmus’s study, the light reflected the fury in Lycan Erasmus’s eyes.
Cyrus sat nearby, his expression equally grave.

“Rise,” Lycan Erasmus said gravely. “The matter at Madison’s princess mansion is to be handled by the Ministry of Justice.”
He didn’t borate, assuming Lance was already informed.
From this, Lance deduced that Lycan Erasmus had a general understanding of the night’s events, though he likely hadn’t anticipated the rebellion link.
