Chapter 375: Run Them Over!

Chapter 375: Chapter 375: Run Them Over!

"Mr. Ye and Boss Zi have already gone ahead to the airport," the subordinate answered, "Once you finish breakfast, I’ll take you and Mr. Gu to meet them there."

Ji Wei showed a surprised expression.

Gu Moqian was severely injured; it wasn’t suitable for him to leave right now.

"Are they nning to return to the country today?"

The subordinate nodded. "Boss Zi said it’s unsafe to stay here. It’s better to arrange for your departure as soon as possible."

"What if Yamamoto Yu has people at the airport?" Ji Wei voiced her concern.

This ce wasn’t safe, but leaving here didn’t guarantee safety either.

Yamamoto Yu, that old fox, would surely have people secretly stationed at the airport to monitor them.

The man chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, Miss Ji, Boss Zi has also considered such a possibility. That’s why we’re heading to a private terminal, not the regr concourse. The ne we’re taking is a military aircraft, very secure."

    Ji Wei’s eyes widened slightly.

She hadn’t expected Zimei to even arrange a military ne. Clearly, her understanding of her underestimated Zimei.

Since everything was properly arranged, Ji Wei had nothing more to add and simply nodded. "Alright, let me straighten up quickly."

"Alright, I’ll go take that guy named Ji to the car first."

After speaking, the man walked toward another room.

Ji Chuyang was furiously rubbing the rope that bound his hands against the sharp edge of the chair. Just a little more, just a sliver more time, and he’d break free!

Ji Chuyang gritted his teeth at the thought.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching and froze instantly in his movements.

When the man entered the room, Ji Chuyang cunningly shut his eyes, pretending to still be asleep.

"Hey, hey, still sleeping? Get up ande with me now!"

The man pped his face hard, causing Ji Chuyang to feign a yawn, tiredly opening his eyes and looking bewildered at the man. "Brother, where are we going?"

"Walk when I tell you to walk! Quit asking nonsense!"

The man had no patience for conversation and yanked him up, dragging him outside.

As Ji Chuyang stood momentarily, he discreetly shook his sleeve to conceal the nearly frayed rope.

"Brother,e on, we’re both men here—be a little kinder to me!" Ji Chuyang pleaded with a shameless grin, even as he was roughly pulled out.

The man shot him a warning re but remained silent.

As the man turned away, Ji Chuyang rolled his eyes and stumbled as he was dragged out of the underground chamber.

Outside, the sunlight was ring. Emerging suddenly from the basement, Ji Chuyang squinted.

He hadn’t taken more than a few steps when his exaggerated shout broke the silence, "Brother! It’s Yamamoto Yu’s men! Right there in the alley—I saw someone dressed in ck for sure!"

The man instantly drew his gun, pulling Ji Chuyang to the wall for cover.

"Stay put here! If you dare to run, I’ll shoot you dead!"

"Brother, don’t worry. My hands are tied—how could I run? Besides, even if I could run fast, I wouldn’t outrun your bullets, right?"

Ji Chuyang’s chatter was irritating. The man grew impatient and snapped, "Shut up!"

"Alright, alright, I’ll shut up, I..."

The man shot him a deadly re, and Ji Chuyang finally fell silent.

As the man cautiously advanced toward the alley with his gun ready, Ji Chuyang quietly freed his wrists from the rope binding him.

He turned and sprinted toward the Lincoln parked ahead!

Hearing themotion behind him, the man spun around to see he’d been duped. In a rage, he fired several shots at Ji Chuyang’s fleeing figure.

Ji Chuyang had already reached the car, flinging open the door and jumping inside.

He immediately kicked the driver out of the driver’s seat, taking over the wheel and swiftly reversing the car. His gaze locked onto Ji Wei and another man helping Gu Moqian as they slowly exited the underground chamber.

A crazed, vicious gleam flickered in Ji Chuyang’s eyes.

    Kill them. Kill them!
