    About ten minutester, Mo Xiuchen left the private room and went outside to greet Qin Mu.


    Less than two minutes after he left, Shen Yuting asked Li Qian sitting beside her if she wanted to go to the restroom. Li Qian shook her head, so Shen Yuting went by herself.

    Shen Yuting lowered her gaze, and when she looked up again, her face showed a hint of apology, “Mo Xiuchen, I want to say sorry to you.”


    Mo Xiuchen did not turn to look at her again; his profound gaze cast toward the traffic flowing in the night. Shen Yuting felt a little nervous, causing her voice to sound slightly harsh, “Mo Xiuchen, I shouldn’t have said those things to you before, I’m sorry, I was confused.”


    “What things?”


    The voice of Mo Xiuchen was cold, without a trace of warmth.


    Shen Yuting’s face turned pale as she lowered her head and said softly, “Mo Xiuchen, when you had amnesia, I told you that Ranran was lucky to have Ah Mu’s care, and also said that we all hoped that Ah Mu and Ranran would be together.”

    Shen Yuting suddenlyughed in the face of Mo Xiuchen’s dark and frosty gaze, herughter tinged with self-mockery and sorrow, “Mo Xiuchen, I know you’ll be angry and annoyed when I say these things, but for Ranran’s sake, I must.”


    “Ranran made an oath that she would never be with you again, and now she’s broken her promise. If one day that oathes true, have you thought about how much she will me herself, how much she’ll regret?”


    “That day will nevere,” Mo Xiuchen stated firmly. In his cold eyes, besides anger, there was also a warning.


    Shen Yuting wanted to say something else, but a taxi stopped in front of them and the door swung open, revealing the handsome figure of Qin Mu.

    In their mutual gazes, there was deep amusement and thefort of a long-lost understanding that no longer required any words.


    “I thought you weren’ting back,” Mo Xiuchen said with a cheerful smile, recalling how he had misunderstood Qin Mu and Ranran during his amnesia, which made him feel a twinge of guilt.


    Even though he had thanked him that night, he still felt that it wasn’t enough.


    Shen Yuting wasn’t wrong about one thing; if Qin Mu didn’t love Ranran as deeply as he did, he would have never followed her off the cliff under those circumstances.


    Qin Mu raised an eyebrow, replying with a smile, “How could I miss a meal when Ah Feng is treating? Of course, I had toe back.”


    “Ah Mu, if you had left a couple of dayster, you wouldn’t have to keep running back and forth.” Shen Yuting chimed in from behind, herughter carrying in the air. Only then did Qin Mu turn his gaze to her, smiling but not responding to herment. Instead, he asked Mo Xiuchen, “Where’s Ranran? Howe you two are here together?”


    Mo Xiuchen’s expression shifted slightly, but he quickly recovered his smile, his tone warm and calm, “Ranran is in the private room with Ah Kai and the others. I came down to see if you had arrived. Let’s go back to the room first.”


    “Alright!”


    Qin Mu had just taken a step when he heard Mo Xiuchen say to Shen Yuting, “If you have something else to do, you don’t need to go back. Just keep your distance from Ranran in the future.”


    He was taken aback for a moment, ncing back at Shen Yuting with curiosity.


    Under the dim light, her face turned pale at Mo Xiuchen’s words.


    Her body even swayed slightly. Incredulity written all over her face, Shen Yuting looked at Mo Xiuchen with eyes full of pain, “Mo Xiuchen, I know that no matter what I say now, you’ll think I have an ulterior motive. So, I promise you, I’ll stay far away from Ranran, just hoping that, as you said, nothing will happen.”


    After speaking, she turned and jogged toward the parking lot.


    “Mo Xiuchen, what did she do to upset you?” Qin Mu asked gently as he watched Shen Yuting’s retreating figure.


    Mo Xiuchen’s gaze softened as it returned to Qin Mu, gesturing for him to go back to the room first. He exined briefly, “Before I regained my memory, she tried to sow discord and deliberately made me misunderstand Ranran. Just now, she even said that Ranran and I can’t be together.”

    Surprise showed on Qin Mu’s face.


    Shen Yuting had mentioned some things to him before, but he hadn’t taken them to heart.
