At this junction, there is also a Saint Emperor standing guard.
Su Yang and hispanions subdued this Saint Emperor, but the information they acquired was simr to that from the previous Saint Emperor. He was just a Beast Tamer ordered to assist the Nine Pce Main God and truly didn''t know what the Nine Pce Main God''s intentions were.
It seemed that Su Yang''s hope of finding out the Nine Pce Main God''s purpose through these Beast Tamers was unlikely.
Su Yang and his team didn''t linger here and continued to hasten their pace, following the path of the Nine Pce Main God.
Later, Su Yang and hispanions went through a dozen or so more junctions. Each junction had a Saint Emperor left behind by the Guardian God. Moreover, the further they advanced, the more junctions they encountered.
Eventually, Su Yang was so bewildered that he couldn''t keep track of how many junctions there were.
Fortunately, Su Yang had three Crystal Skulls with him on this journey. These three weren''t much good at anything else but had a knack for remembering routes. After all, they were former master thieves, particrly sensitive to such positional issues.
Of course, having these three along had another benefit: tracking the position of the Nine Pce Main God, ensuring they weren''t deceived by the stationed Saint Emperors. Otherwise, Su Yang alone would find it hard to determine directions.
It took Su Yang and hispanions about three months to traverse these dozen or so junctions, yet they still hadn''t caught up with the group led by the Nine Pce Main God.
On this day, Su Yang and hispanions emerged from a passageway and came to another junction.
However, the sudden appearance of this junction caught Su Yang off guard.
Previously, each time they neared a junction, he could sense the power of the Saint Emperor guarding it and thus knew they were approaching a junction.
But this time, he felt no power at all, and unprepared, stumbled onto a junction.
This junction was far moreplicated than those Su Yang had seen before.
In the forward direction, there were over twenty pathways branching out. In the backward direction, there were about a dozen paths.
In sum, there were at least ten different paths leading into this ce, and more than twenty ways to exit. Combined, that''s thirty or forty pathways.
Su Yang was bewildered. Where did all these pathwayse from, and where were they leading? Why were there so manyplex pathways within this Land of Chaos? Who left these pathways, and for what purpose?
"Why isn''t anyone guarding here?" the Second City Lord eximed in surprise.
Su Yang was equally puzzled. Every previous junction was guarded by a Saint Emperor, so why not here? Considering how many junctions there are, shouldn''t more Saint Emperors be assigned here?
Cautiously moving forward, after a short distance, Su Yang suddenly sensed something unusual. He quickly looked around and realized he had unwittingly entered an Array.
"Be careful!" Su Yang hastily warned, but the three Crystal Skulls behind him seemed not to hear and continued moving forward.
Su Yang quickly stepped back to stop them, but it was toote. The three Crystal Skulls vanished before his eyes.
However, Su Yang wasn''t overly surprised; he knew the three Crystal Skulls had also entered this Array.
This Array could obscure senses and hide aura. When they were outside, they hadn''t detected its presence at all. Even Su Yang only noticed it after stepping in.
Once inside, even Su Yang''s voice couldn''t reach outside. So the three Crystal Skulls didn''t hear his shout and entered the Array directly.
The Array concealed their presence, so once they entered, they disappeared from view. They weren''t truly gone, but rather hidden by the Array, still close to Su Yang, who couldn''t see them due to the Array''s obstruction.
Su Yang didn''t understand the full nature of this Array and dared not act rashly. He looked around, but all was empty, like he was the only one at this junction, with nothing unusual about it.
This situation instead heightened Su Yang''s vignce. Though not a Saint Emperor himself, he was far more powerful than an ordinary one.
Yet within this Array, he couldn''t sense any power, indicating its formidable nature.
Unable to sense this Array''s power, Su Yang had no means to dismantle it.
After pondering briefly, Su Yang cautiously took a step forward.
Retreating wasn''t an option to exit this Array. Since entering, Su Yang couldn''t even tell his own position. Going backward could mean advancing deeper into the Array.
Therefore, the direction mattered little to Su Yang. The key was understanding the Array to dismantle it.
One step, two steps, three steps, and still no sense of power.
On the fourth step, unexpectedly, a powerful force surged towards Su Yang.
Turning, he saw a bloodied man charging fiercely at him. Though severely wounded, it was evident that he, too, was a Saint Emperor with considerable strength.
Without further thought, Su Yang quickly blocked the man''s attack.
Yet the man, as if in a frenzy, continued to relentlessly attack Su Yang after missing his initial strike.
Su Yang defended against all the attacks, seized a chance, and swiftly pinned the man to the ground, sealing him with a burst of power.
The man kept roaring despite being sealed, ring at Su Yang with a murderous gaze.
"Who are you?"
"What do you want?"
"Why are you here?"
Su Yang bombarded the man with questions, but he refused to answer, focused only on trying to kill Su Yang.
Su Yang frowned and closely observed, finding the man''s mind in chaos. Whatever he had experienced within this Array had driven him to such a state. But learning anything from him proved impossible.
Additionally, the man''s strength was formidable. Shortly after being sealed, he broke free and attacked Su Yang once more.
Left with no choice, Su Yang had to kill the man.
