    "We just spected that these Centipede Snakes were driven out by the Winged Cultivators," Su Yang said, "but this person has been dead for less than twenty-four hours. That means he died less than a day ago, and they are at most a day''s journey ahead of us. In Kunlun Mountain, flying is practically impossible, and a day''s journey wouldn''t be very far.     Sitting in the woods for less than ten minutes, Su Yang heard a rapid series of chirping sounds from afar, it was the Little Chick''s voice.


    Su Yang immediately got up and rushed forward, only to see the Little Chick flying back rapidly, followed closely by the Little Grey Bird, looking anxious.


    Su Yang quickly approached, checking them carefully to ensure the two little creatures weren''t hurt and there were no pursuers behind. He then rxed.


    The Little Chick and Little Grey Bird flew over, the Little Chicknding on Su Yang''s shoulder, while the Little Grey Bird flew directly onto Qi''er''s shoulder.

    The Little Chick danced around on Su Yang''s shoulder, chirping away.


    Su Yang, having spent ample time with the Little Chick, understood its bodynguage somewhat. After watching for a while, he was stunned and said, "You say you saw an old friend of mine?"
