"Why are you here?"


    Seeing the woman in front of him, Zachary instinctively frowned. That was because the woman was none other than Wendy.


    She held her head high as she stood at the door. It seemed as if she was waiting for him to invite her into the house. However, when she realized he wasn''t going to do it at all, she looked angry.


    She arrogantly and coldly said, "I''m here to tell you that my dad has officially retired. From now on, I''ll be fully in charge of Jennings Corporation.


    "Also, we''re not working with Yel Corporation anymore because we''ve found a more suitable business partner. Not only that, but Jennings Corporation will open a branch in Celesea City, and Ethan will be the CEO of the branch."


    She looked really pleased when she spoke.


    She looked at Zachary with a mocking gaze and wanted to see the regret and anger on his face. However, his reaction disappointed her.


    "That''s your business. What does it have to do with me?" He looked at her in annoyance.


    Wendy frowned and said with a scoff, "What does it have to do with you? If you had waited a little longer to get the divorce, half of Jennings Corporation would''ve been yours. Now, none of it has anything to do with you."


    "Did youe all the way here just to tell me this?"


    Zachary looked at her like he was looking at an idiot.


    Wendy said angrily, "Drop the act, Zachary! Since you''ve left me, you have nothing now! I''ve dug around and found out that you''ve rented this ce. Since you''re so broke that you have to rent a house, why are you still being stubborn?"


    "You''re right. But what does this have to do with you?" He remained cold, and that was what angered her more.


    "Are you still going to be this stubborn when you''re this miserable, Zachary? As long as you beg me, I''ll consider letting you move back in! However, your performance will decide if we can restore our marriage!"


    "Are you done? If so, I''m going to close the door." He rolled his eyes at her and took a step back. Then, he closed the door right away.


    When the door was closed, he heard Wendy going ballistic behind the door. "You''re an idiot, Zachary!"


    Zachary was infuriated, so he scolded back, "You''re the idiot here! In fact, your whole family is an idiot!"


    He thought about what he had said and changed his mind. "Everyone except your mom is an idiot! They''re the biggest idiot in the world!"


    He was still in a good mood earlier. However, Wendy had destroyed it.


    He returned to the kitchen and continued preparing his dinner.. When he was cing the food be made on the table, he suddenly heard keys rattling outside the door.


    Zachart''s heart fell, and he dropped the te in his hand on the table right away.


    "Did that idiotic woman really find a locksmith to break into my ce?"


    Then, the door opened in front of him. After that, Molly entered with a bag of


    ingredients. She was still wearing the clothes she wore to ss.


    When their eyes met, she blushed brightly. Then, she lowered her head and said, "I''m sorry. I... I''mte!"


    "It''s fine. I''m d you''re back."


    Zachary looked upset because of Wendy. However, Molly''s attitude was part of the reason as well. After all, he gave her half a million without a second thought. However, her attitude seemed uneptable.


    "I won''t make the same mistake again." She didn''t exin herself further. Instead, she closed the door and hurriedly entered the kitchen.


    Zachary picked up his te and said angrily, "I didn''t prepare any food for you."


    Molly''s face looked pale, and she sounded sorry. "It''s alright. I''m not hungry! Do you have enough food, Zac? If not, I''ll make you more!"


    Right after she said that, her stomach started rumbling. It was so loud that Zachary could hear it as well. So, her face instantly blushed again.


    He looked at her and finally went soft. "I didn''t prepare much, but I''ll let you have some of it. Grab a te!"


    "There''s no need for that. Please go ahead yourself, Zac. I... I''m on a diet, and I usually don''t eat at night!" She waved her hands nonstop.


    Zachary''s face fell, and he said angrily, "Just do as you''re told!"


    "Alright!"


    Molly teared up, and she hurriedly grabbed a te and a spoon from the kitchen. Then, he grabbed some food and ced it on her te.


    "Dig in!"


    "Okay!" Molly was obedient as she started eating when he told her to. In fact, she was so obedient that she only ate the food he gave her.


    Zachary was speechless and angry at the same time. "Why aren''t you eating the other dishes? Are you waiting for me to chew them into bits and feed you from my mouth?"
