Chapter 58

Zachary frowned as he was speechless. He found Anya''s reaction to be a little weird.

However, he remembered how thepany belonged to his family anyway. So, even if he didn''t get his sry, it didn''t seem to matter that much to him. With that thought in mind, he decided not to fawn over her.

Right when he stepped out of thepany, he saw Anya getting in a stranger''s

    car.

The stranger was a man who looked to be in histe thirties. He was wearing golden-rimmed sses and a custom-made suit. He also had a branded watch that was worth at least millions.

The man was smiling like a gentleman. After he closed the passenger-side door for Anya, he made his way to the other side of the vehicle.

That car was a red-colored limited-edition Aston Martin, and there were only 150 of those in the world. It was worth around 12 million dors. Clearly, the man was someone powerful enough to be able to drive such a luxurious car in Yelbric.

However, Zachary didn''t think too much about it. After all, Anya was the CEO of Yel Corporation, so she was highly regarded in Yelbric. With that thought in mind, it wasn''t that weird for her to know someone that wealthy.

However, Zachary felt ufortable when he saw her getting into that man''s car, and he didn''t even know why.

He had nothing to do that night. So, he called a taxi to go to a pub and spend some time there. Upon arriving at the pub, he ordered himself a cocktail and started drinking at the bar counter.

He took out his phone and wanted to message Ellen multiple times. However, he held himself back from doing it every time.

"Hey, handsome! Are you alone?" At that moment, a hotdy took the initiative to flirt with him.

Zachary smiled and nodded gently. "Would you like to drink together?"

She looked decent and had a lot of makeup on her face. However, he could immediately tell that she wasn''t as old as she looked. She just had mature-looking makeup.

"Just order what you would like to drink. It''ll be my treat!" It was indeed a little boring for him to drink alone, so he generously offered to pay for thedy''s drinks.

She didn''t hesitate as well and ordered the same cocktail he was drinking. Then, they started talking casually.

After their brief conversation, he found out that she was only in her twenties and was in her second year at Yel University of Film and Media. She didn''t tell him her actual name and just introduced herself as Molly Baker.

"Are you going through a breakup, Zac?"

    "Why do you ask that?"

    "Since we started talking earlier,

you''ve looked at your phone 12

times. If you didn''t just break

    up, I

can''t think of another reason why

    you would do that."

"I don''t think it counts as a breakup. It''s more like someone had messed with me!"

    Zachary smiled awkwardly. There

was one good thing about pubs, and

that was that no one knew each

othepat all. So, they could just share

    whatever they wanted.

Molly couldn''t help but burst outughing. When she realized she was being rude,

she hurriedlyforted him, "It''s alright. It''s not your loss!"

He said seriously, "But it was my first time!"

She tried her best to hold back herughter and asked, "What about her?"

"It was her first time as well!" He didn''t hide the truth at all.

Upon hearing that, she rolled her eyes at him. "In that case, you''ve scored big, haven''t you?"

He smiled bitterly. "You could say that, but I''m not that shallow! I wanted to be responsible for her. Unfortunately..."

"I didn''t take you for the responsible type!"

Molly was really impressed by what he had said. So, she started being more passionate around him and even started pouring her heart out to him.
