    The house, once lively, suddenly felt much emptier.


    Early in the morning, Benjamin was already waiting downstairs for me.

    His confidence left me no choice but to trust him.


    I quickly opened the car door and got in. Benjamin, sitting in the driver''s seat, started the car and drove


    off.


    His driving was smooth and steady. While eating my breakfast, I quietly handled some Shadow Pack matters On my phone.


    Thankfully, with five minutes to spare before ss, the ear came to a smooth stop in front of the school.


    I let out a sigh of relief, waved at Benjamin, and said. "I''m heading to ss now. Have a good day at work, bye!"


    To my surprise, the car door didn''t open. "Benjamin, why did you lock the door?"


    Benjamin looked at me with a meaningful expression and asked. "Aren''t we technically engaged now?"

    He said, "Well, now that we''re engaged, shouldn''t we say goodbye properly? Hmm?"


    I blinked at him, looking serious, and asked, “How exactly are we supposed to say


    goodbye? Benjamin, can you just be direct? I''m about to bete!"

    "She handled the paperwork before school started. I heard her family''s moving abroad-they''re leaving in the next couple of days."


    "What? They''re immigrating?!"
