Chapter 215

    Ava''s POV

ke led me through the forest, moonlight filtering through leaves and casting

dancing shadows on the ground. Two weeks since the wedding, and this was our

first real alone time—no pack business, no guests, no responsibilities. Just us.

"Where exactly are you taking me?" I asked, though I was already buzzing with

    anticipation.

"Somewhere special," ke smiled mysteriously. "Only Morgan family knows

about it. My great-grandfather discovered it, said it''s where the Moon Goddess

    likes to hang out."

We followed this barely-there trail, forest getting thicker around us. I could hear

water somewhere ahead, night birds singing their hearts out. The air smelled like

pine and wildflowers—every breath made me feel more rxed.

"ke," I said as we walked, "watching Lyra and Thomas tonight got me thinking

about fate. What if we''d met back in their time? How would that have worked

    out?"

He stopped, turning to face me. Moonlight hit his face just right, making him look

even more gorgeous than usual. "Doesn''t matter when we met. I would''ve fallen

for you anyway. It''s destiny, Ava. Inevitable as the moon rising."

My heart did that fluttery thing it always did when he talked like that. Even

married, the man could still make me blush like a teenager.

We kept walking, talking about our friends'' futures. Sophia had already left for

Northern Lights with Lyra, E was off on her human world adventure. Everyone

chasing their own path, but our bonds staying strong no matter what.

Finally, we reached his mystery destination.

I sucked in a breath. Hiddenke, perfectly round like some giant had pressed a

silver cup into the earth. Water smooth as ss, reflecting the full moon so

perfectly I couldn''t tell which was real and which was reflection. Ancient oaks

circled the whole thing like guardians protecting something sacred.

"ke, this is incredible," I breathed.

"This isn''t even the best part," he said, eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Ava, you

know what a ''moonlight run'' is?"

    I shook my head.

"It''s one of the most sacred rituals between werewolf mates," ke exined,

voice going serious. "Running in olf form under moonlight. Complete freedom,

needed, just $ speaking to each other."

I shivered, not from cold but from how intimate that sounded. "You want to...

"I want to share this tradition with you," he said quietly. "If you''re up for it."

I nodded, excitement and nerves tangling in my stomach. This wasn''t just

shifting—this was opening uppletely, trusting each other with everything we

    had.

We started undressing slowly, each movement feeling ceremonial. Moonlight

painted our skin silver, making everything feel sacred and beautiful.

"Ready?" ke asked, eyes full of love.

I looked at him, thinking about our whole journey, From that night at Moonlight

Lodge when I almost lost control, to bing his Luna. The road had been

full of challenges, pain, joy, and love.

    "Yeah, I whispered.

Shifting felt extra smooth in the moonlight. I felt my bones reshape, muscles

stretch, silver-gray fur covering my skin. When it was done, I saw the world

through wolf eyes—sharper, clearer, more alive.

ke had be this massive ck wolf, majestic and beautiful in the

moonlight. His golden eyes watched me, love and desire clear even in wolf

    form.

    We started running.

No destination, no n, just pure movement. Through the forest, over streams, up

rocky slopes, flying across the ground under moonlight, Wind whipped through my

fur, earth solid under my paws. This freedom made me want to run forever.

ke stayed beside me—sometimes leading, sometimes following, our

movements perfectly synced like we were two parts of one whole. No words

needed to understand each other. This mind-to-mind connection ran deeper than

    any conversation.

We climbed a hill overlooking both pack territories. From up here, I could see

Silverpeak''s lights and Shadow Creek''s outline in the distance. All of it—our home,

    our responsibility, our love.

We kept running, ying in the forest. ke would slow down to let me catch up,

then we''d tumble together on soft grass, showing joy and love the wolf way. Pure

happiness without any human worldplications—just raw, honest emotion.
