Gideon reached out to take what Analise was holding and put it back in its original spot.
"It was a gift from me?"
Analise said thoughtfully, "No wonder it looks familiar."
"Analise, this is a ''colorful deer.'' It''s a high-grade tool in Reward Store," Echo''s voice rang out in Analise''s mind. "Something huge must have happened to you in the future, Analise."
Echo knew her very well. Based on the things that Analise had bought in Reward Store previously, she was clearly someone who nned ahead.
She would not have bought something that required so many points if she could have found a cheap substitute.
If the future Analise had bought the colorful deer for Gideon, then something must have happened to him...
However, Echo did not tell Analise that. There was a digital memory in Echo''s database that was locked, and she did not have the authority to unlock it yet.
When she thought about what Gideon had said, it seemed that there was a 99.9% probability that the future Analise had really traveled to Gideon''s childhood.
"Yes. You said—" Gideon suddenly stopped. "Ana, the future you emphasized the fact that I can''t tell you about this little toy."
Analise stared at him for a while, and she couldn''t help feeling worried. "Okay. That''s alright. There must be a reason for that."
Echo had just said that something big must have happened to her.
Something big?
There had only been one such event up until now, and that was her mother''s death. Therefore...
Analise looked at Gideon, and it seemed that something invisible had enveloped both of them.
"Ana, why are you looking at me like that?"
Gideon looked away quickly when he saw the slightly sorrowful expression on Analise''s face.
He did know a few things. The future
Analise had mentioned them.
However, he wasn''t afraid. He''d
already experienced so many things. One or two more wouldn''t make much of a difference.
"It''s nothing." Analise gave Gideon a rare hug.
"Ana..." Gideon was startled, and the light in his eyes changed.
There was a dark look in Gideon''s eyes as he reached out to hug Analise back. He enveloped herpletely in his arms, and his Adam''s apple bobbed up and down involuntarily.
"I want to kiss you, Ana," Gideon said softly, like an obedient child asking if he could have some candy.
However, he was more like a rebellious child, as he did not wait for Analise''s answer. He reached out to pinch her chin and lift up her face before leaning down to kiss her.
Analise blinked in surprise, and her eyshes fluttered like butterfly wings.
They were too close to each other. Analise could clearly see the suppressed emotion in Gideon''s pitch-ck eyes, and she could also
smell the scent of jasmine on him. It was the scent she liked.
Analise blinked before closing her eyes gently, allowing Gideon to take her breath away.
Gideon slipped an arm around Analise''s waist and ced her easily on the table beside them. He looked earnestly at her. "Ana, I want to be your mate, too." Analise looked adorable, and she was slightly flushed from their kiss. She raised an eyebrow.
Gideon wasn''t asking her. He appeared to be notifying her.
"What if I don''t want you to?"
There was a sh of panic and helplessness in Gideon''s eyes, and he took her hand as he looked pitifully at her. "Ana..."
"Whining won''t work." Analise turned her head away, a sly look gleaming in her eyes.
Gideon had noticed her expression, and his lips curled upward into a smirk as he leaned closer to her. "Then, I''ll just have to kiss you until you agree."
He grabbed Analise forcefully around the waist and kissed her again without any exnation.
