Chapter 135

Gideon wanted to have Analise all to himself.

In the Interster therian world, polyandry was the norm. He could tolerate her being romantically involved with multiple men, but he couldn''t ept that she wasn''t with him. He just wanted to keep Analise by his side.

All these years of pining were finally too much. He felt like he couldn''t keep up the act any longer.

    But he couldn''t scare her.

He wanted to be with Analise for the rest of his life.

"Come on. Let me see how clever that little brain of yours really is what kind of amazing inventions have you made?" she said, nodding at him.

She didn''t think a time machine could be so easily developed, so she wasn''t too fixated on it. As long as shepleted her task, Echo would probably send her back to the human world anyway. So, whether the time machine worked or not didn''t matter too much.

Still, if Gideon really managed to make it work, it could serve as a backup n to return home.

But after nearly a month living in the Interster therian world, Analise had experienced things she never had before. New thoughts had begun to sprout in her heart.

Did she really have to go back?

If she returned to the human world, she''d be alone again, burying herself in work every day. Aside from a few scattered friends, she had no close family waiting for her.

"Sure. I''ll give you a proper tour," Gideon said, swiftly taking her hand and intertwining his fingers with hers.

They had already made plenty of potions today, so taking a longer break wouldn''t hurt. To him, Analise always came first.

The reason Gideon hadn''t gone straight to Stormw Alliance earlier was because he hadn''t been sure if the pure human female mentioned was truly Analise. But the moment he saw the live stream where she calmed the males, he knew.

He hadn''t even changed clothes and simply rushed to Stormw Alliance in his starship.

But when he got there, he learned that Analise and Scott had already left. So he flew through the night to Ironhorn Alliance, yet what caught him off guard was that she didn''t recognize him at all.

Luckily, Gideon remembered what Analise had once told him and wasn''t too devastated. Besides, she didn''t push him away when he went in for a hug—that was enough for him.

"Are these all your inventions?" Analise asked, following Gideon into a room filled with pocket drives of all shapes and sizes.

Disyed in its own case, each one took up an entire wall.

"Yeah. But they''re not quite at the level I want yet. There''s still a lot of work to be done," Gideon replied, caressing the back of Analise''s hand with his thumb as his gaze drifted toward the drives.

"Oh? Your standards are pretty high, huh?" Analise chuckled. "But the pocket

drive you used to catch Sean was truly impressive."

It wasn''t untilter that day that she realized there was anotheryer of pocket drive outside. Their starship had been coursing into a massive pocket drive, which Gideon had activated since the beginning.

If it weren''t for Ophir—or if it wasn''t the system at all—Sean would''ve beenpletely trapped.

The smaller pocket drive at the back was just as amazing.

Analise had seen it once through those strange sses. Inside were tons of

tracking weapons, each one able to lock onto a specific target.

But because there were too many people inside at the time, Gideon didn''t activate it. What Analise didn''t know was that the real reason he hadn''t triggered them was her. He didn''t want to risk hurting her.

"That one was specifically made for him," Gideon said, lowering himself to meet her gaze. "And since you''re the one who asked for it, of course I took it seriously."

"So, do I have a reward?" he murmured, leaning closer.

"Stop!" Analise pushed him away. "Why am I involved in this again? I think we need to talk."

Since it was just the two of them right now, and no one else was around, Analise figured it was the perfect time to finally discuss the future "her".
