Chapter 133

Analise had heard how Scott and Fiy talked about Gideon, but it still couldn''t stop her from being surprised after finding out his real identity.

After all, Gideon had always been rxed and jovial around her. If she hadn''t spent the past few days at Shadowhawk Alliance and seen how indifferent he truly was, she wouldn''t have believed what Scott and Fiy said about him.

"Yeah." Gideon beamed at her. "This is the only way I can assist you, Ana. But since I hate dealing with those troubles, I left them in their hands instead."

"I could tell that you''re into research." Analise arched her brow, looking amused as she continued, "I noticed there''s a massive spherical machine in theb next door. What''s that? Can I go have a look?"

Since they had nothing else to do, she figured she could use her break to tour around Gideon''sb.

Gideon looked away, but he nodded in agreement after a while. He grabbed her hand and told her to get behind him.

"This doesn''t look like a starship," Analise remarked as she paced around the spherical machine.

"It''s not." Gideon smiled. "It''s a time machine."

"A time machine?" Analise''s eyes lit up. "Can it travel to any point in time?"

Seeing her perk up at his response, Gideon felt his heart clench. He instinctively lied, "But it''s not working properly yet."

"Oh? That''s a shame," she replied, her gaze dimming.

Gideon''s memories drifted back to that day-when all the test data on the time machine were normal, and time travel was theoretically possible.

He had hesitated only briefly before stepping into the time machine. But before departing, he summoned several sessor candidates and gave them specific instructions.

After all, he wasn''t certain whether the time machine could really help him find Analise.

Based on the small details he''d picked up during his time with her, he''d deduced that the era she was living in was likely 300 years before the Vexoth invasion.

So, Gideon keyed in that estimated

time and set the coordinates. He wasn''t very confident in the

    34130

machine, but he had missed Analise

so much that he was determined to find her.

He had tried entering dates in the future, but for some reason, the machine refused to ept any future timestamps. Thus, his only option was to go to Analise''s past.

Once he input the time, the time machine was activated and vanished from its original location in an instant. By the time Gideon''s surroundings cleared up again, he realized the machine was in midair.

"So... this is the era Ana lived in?"

As he nced at the buildings and terrain below, his heart raced. "I did it!"

"Radar detection nearby. Activate stealth mode?" the mechanical voice of the time machine interrupted his excitement.

    "Activate it."

The time machine was a product far beyond anything from this era there was no way he could risk being discovered. His only goal was to find Analise, after all.

After the stealth mode was enabled, Gideon detected a ne approaching. For some reason, his heart began to race.

"Ana, where are you..." he mumbled, carefully maneuvering the time machine as he tried to locate the ces Analise once mentioned.

When he saw the ne approaching, he instinctively steered the time machine out of the way. He was in the ne''s airway, after all.

Gideon''s beast form was that of an eagle. As a bird therian, his eyesight was exceptional.

So, when the ne passed by the invisible time machine, he immediately spotted Analise sitting by the window.

    "Ana!" he cried out.
