Chapter 99

Analise first took photos with Fiy and Scott individually, then they all took some photos together.

Of course, the photo of the three of them together was the one Analise posted on Cosmoseek. The duo photos, on the other hand, were the ones that Fiy and Scott wanted to post on their own Cosmoseek ounts.

There was instant uproar the moment they uploaded the photos online.

In general, most of them were envious of Fiy and Scott, while a small portion ofizensmented that Fiy was lucky.

Overall, most of the private messages that Analise received consisted of people congratting her, but there was a small number of people who sent her messages wanting to get to know her or pursue her affections.

She silently turned off her interface and nced at Fiy and Scott, who were each standing to one side of her.

The two of them were, surprisingly, typing on their interfaces in tandem. They were both likely sending messages to someone.

However, she received an interster call from Gideon before she had even walked out of the Interster Contract Bureau.

A crease formed between her brows. She had a bad feeling about this.

As expected, the moment she answered the call, Gideon was demanding in a whiny voice, "Ana! What about me? What about me, Ana? Have those two really stolen your heart away?

"Did you not leave me any ce in your heart? Have you really forgotten all about me?"

He clutched at his chest, showing her a pained expression.

She was speechless for a moment. Then, she smiled and tried to change the topic.

"I did leave you a spot, but you''re just too far away right now, no? You aren''t even

in the Stormw Alliance, and you still have to conduct research on rice."

On her screen, she could see that he was still wearing conservative attire. It looked to be specialized clothing for conducting research.

rice was lying still on the surgical table next to him, her eyes closed. Her chest had been cut open, revealing something that gleamed silver and ck.

However, Gideon had not taken the object out. Instead, he had simply connected it to a nearby instrument via a strange thread.

When she took a closer look at it, she found that it was indeed thread and not some sort of catheter or other simr object.

It was just thread that looked simr to wool.

"Research isn''t going to dy me from forming a contract with you. If you had told me you wanted to form a contract with me earlier, I would have gone with you," Gideon said aggrievedly. "This research isn''t going to yield results within a day or two."

    Analise stayed silent.

Gideon''s eyes reddened slightly. "Ana... Why aren''t you saying anything? Do you really not remember me anymore? Have you checked out the bracelet I gave you?"

She felt guilty for some reason. "I haven''t..."

He almost turned to stone on the spot from shock and disappointment. "So, you really don''t remember me at all, Ana..."

She smiled apologetically at him. "I''m sorry."

He was stunned at the sight of the genuine apology in her smile.

He lowered his gaze, then said after a moment, "It''s alright. I don''t care about the order of the contracts, and it''s not like I want to force you to form a contract with me immediately.

"We can just form a contract when you one day remember me, but please reserve

a ce for me in your heart, Ana."

The equipment on the side started beeping, and he hurriedly moved to hang up the call. "I''m going to check on rice first, Ana. I''ll call you backter."

She looked at the interface disying the disconnected call with an unreadable expression on her face.

Vera had finished forming a contract with the male therian from before, and she happened to walk out to the sight of Analise in a daze. "Why are you zoning off here, Ana?"

Analise nced at Vera''s Starstone ne. "It''s nothing. Have the two of youpleted the contract procedure so quickly?"

"Yes. There were fewer people today,

so it was quick," Vera said with a

    crazy on

nod. "You sure are popr, Ana. Look. As soon as you posted that photo it was shared like crazy Cosmoseek. I heard that even that SSS-grade therian from the Ethereal Fang Alliance wanted toe over to pursue your affections."
