    Fiy scratched his head. "But he''s in such a bad situation. His mate is pregnant and got taken away. I don''t think he''d lie. He just wants help."


    "The security force allows anonymous reports. That means if Sawyer had any suspicions about his brother but didn''t want to make a scene, he could''ve just reported it anonymously.


    "But he didn''t. Instead, he came to us, the ones who saved Karl, and just met Lord Hansen. Why do you think that is?" Analise asked.

    Feeling wronged, Fiy turned to Analise for support.

    Scott voiced his assumptions. "Sawyer is probably working with the Reimers. That ''female'' he mentioned might never have been his mate in the first ce."


    "Lord Hansen probably realized something was off, which is why he sent Jay to follow Karl. Otherwise, Karl would''ve been dead by now."


    "But he said his mate was pregnant..."


    Fiy was still stuck on that point.


    "That was a lie. He wanted to trick us into calling the security force. I''m guessing there are already therians in this city who have been calmed by that robot female."

    "Karl was in the estate. If that robot female was there too, then Sawyer shouldn''t have been so surprised when he saw Karl. If she were truly in the estate, she would''ve kept Sawyer informed.
