    Elysia let out augh, as if she found Dorian''s words ridiculous and unbelievable.


    A shudder ran through Dorian, and a wave of fear welled up inside him.


    Elysia was so convinced that he had slept with Jessica that she''d gone so far as to end their pregnancy over it—the child he had longed for was gone. Did this really mean that he and Elysia were over for good?


    He couldn''t ept it. He stepped forward. "Why are you doing this?"


    Amara noticed the dangerous look in Dorian''s eyes. Worried that he might hurt Elysia in his emotional state, she immediately stepped in front of Elysia to shield her. "Dorian, what do you think you''re doing?"


    Dorian pushed her aside. "Don''t get in my way!"


    He didn''t push Amara very hard, but she''d moved quickly and the floor was slippery she lost her bnce and fell to the ground.


    "Ama, are you okay?" Elysia cried out in rm, trying to get out of bed to help Amara.


    But her body was still weak after the procedure-she hadn''t recovered yet. The moment she moved, a wave of pain swept through her.


    Dorian, who had been about to help Amara, panicked when he saw Elysia wince and clutch her stomach, and rushed over to support Elysia instead. "...Are you all right?"


    Just then, the door to the hospital room swung open again. Keith walked in.

    He had seen Dorian push Amara a moment earlier. Without a word, Keith scooped Amara up in his arms, shot Dorian an icy re, and said, "You just wait," then left the room carrying Amara.


    Keith walked through the hospital carrying Amara in his arms. Many people eyed them as they passed.


    Keith was a celebrity, and Amara was also somewhat in the public eye. The two of them were known for their highly publicized engagement, so it was only natural people recognized them and couldn''t help but stare.
