Chapter 775

Mrs. Walker felt her heart drop as she was reminded of the scene a few days ago when Amelia publicly used Amara. The memory made her ufortable, and she was about to apologize on Amelia''s behalf.

But before she could say anything, Amara took out an envelope and handed it to her. “This is something I happened toe across a while ago. It concerns something that happened in thetter half ofst year, while Amelia was seeing your son. Please, take a look."

"Don''t worry, I haven''t shared this with anyone else. I just didn''t want you to be kept in the dark, so I thought you should see it. I''ll head out now."

As she spoke, Amara stood up. Mrs. Walker immediately rose to see her out, still holding the envelope. Inside, she could feel several thin, slightly stiff items— definitely not letters. They felt more like photographs.

While Amara was changing her shoes, Mrs. Walker, unable to quell her curiosity, quietly opened the envelope and peeked inside.

What she saw made her face pale instantly.

The photos showed Amelia and a stranger dressed in ck, standing by a car, locked in a passionate kiss, their bodies pressed tightly together.

Amara had said this happened while Amelia was dating her son. Did that mean Amelia had been unfaithful?

Mrs. Walker waspletely shaken, but she couldn''t let it show. When Amara turned back, she forced herself to smile. "Already leaving, Ms. Sullivan? Why not stay for lunch? I can ask the kitchen to make something you like."

Amara smiled. "Thank you, Mrs. Walker, but there''s no need. I have something else to take care of. Perhaps we''ll have another chance to catch up.”

With a polite nod to Mrs. Walker, Amara turned and walked away.

From the corner of her eye, Amara had noticed Mrs. Walker opening the envelope and saw her expression change. She could already imagine what would happen to Amelia once she left.

She recalled how, after leaving the bakery a few days ago, she was struck by intense pain from contractions and nearly fainted on the busy street-a memory that now brought a faint smile to her lips.

So, Amelia, you tried to hurt me? This is what you deserve. Now it''s your turn to suffer.

After leaving the Walker residence, Amara didn''t head home. Instead, she went to the Sullivan estate.

With Amelia''s matter settled, it was time to deal with Elowen.

After parking, Amara walked into the living room and asked a staff member if Larry was around. She was told that Larry had gone to the office and would be backter. Amara nodded and then asked about Elowen''s whereabouts.

"Elowen is upstairs, sleeping," the staff member replied. "Mr. Sullivan hasn''t allowed her to leave the

house recently. She''s been in a

    terrible mood and wont evene

    downstars for meals."

"She spends all day in her room-eating, sleeping, or breaking things. We''ve had to

rece the decorations in her room several times already..."

This particr staff member was on good terms with Amara and hade long grown weary of Elowen''s spoiled tantrums. So when Amara asked about Elowen, she couldn''t help but vent a little.

Amara nodded, went upstairs, and knocked on Elowen''s door.

    "Who is it?" shouted Elowen.

She was already so irritable without knowing who was there-it was obvious she was in a foul mood.

A hint of a smile tugged at Amara''s lips, but she said nothing. Instead, she simply opened the door and walked in.

Elowen was sprawled on her bed, scrolling through her phone. Startled to see Amara, her eyes grew wide as she jumped up from the bed.

"Amara, what are you doing here?" she yelled. "How dare youe see me?"
