    Amara replied, "That''s exactly what it sounded like from what Finnian said today, but I''m not getting back together with him. Whether or not he marries Liliana is his business. It has nothing to do with me." Her gaze was unwavering.


    Elysia squeezed Amara''s hand, silently promising to support whatever decision she made. Sensing Amara didn''t want to talk about Finnian anymore, Elysia changed the subject. Amara looked at her and asked, "How are things going for you? Is Dorian still refusing to sign the divorce papers?"


    "Yes," Elysia sighed. "It seems like he''s staying at Finnian''s ce every day now. I send the divorce papers to his office, but apparently he''s not going to work anymore, so his assistant picks up what I send and delivers it to Finnian''s house. That''s what my contact at the Hawke Group told me." Elysia frowned as she spoke.


    "I just don''t understand him," she continued. "He used to be so good to Jessica Bishop-it was obvious he had real feelings for her. Now he''s pretending to be so devoted to me. Who does he think he''s fooling?"


    "Anyway, if he refuses to sign, then let it drag on. If he keeps pushing me, I''ll sue for divorce. The Moon family is just as influential as the Hawke family—I''m not afraid of losing that case."
