"Truly, birds of a feather-Amara and her best friend. Both sisters abandoned by their men, it''s really just..."
As she spoke, Nora was quietly tidying up beside her.
Having some knowledge of the situation herself, Nora couldn''t help but interject, "Ms. Moon wasn''t abandoned. She was the one who asked Dorian for a divorce. In fact, it''s Dorian who doesn''t really want to let go."
Liliana''s smile froze instantly. She shot Nora a sharp look. “Do you always have to put your two cents in?"
Nora shrank back, falling silent.
Liliana sneered. No matter the truth, she enjoyed watching Elysia and Dorian''s marriage unravel.
Suddenly, something urred to her. "Didn''t I tell you to look into Amara''s pregnancy? Have you found out who the father is yet?"
Nora kept her head down. "I''m still working on it, but nothing''se up so far."
Liliana waved her hand in irritation. "Why is it so hard to find out something so simple? Whatever, just go out and get me a cake. Make it a big one—Durian mille crepe."
"Yes, Liliana, I''ll go now."
Nora ducked her head and left. The moment she stepped out of the living room, Liliana''s eyes snapped open, a cold glint flickering in them.
Lately, Nora had seemed less willing to do her bidding—especially when it came to matters involving Amara. That little traitor needed to be taught a lesson...
With a cold smile, Liliana got up and headed straight for Nora''s room, rifling through everything from top to bottom.
A few minutester, she emerged, clutching several photographs and muttering, "So the little backstabber did dig up something about Amara, but she''s keeping it from me. Is she nning to cozy up to Amara?
Maybe she''s forgotten who pays her sry."
After cursing Nora out, Liliana spread the photos she had found across the table and narrowed her eyes.
"Amara, oh Amara... So this is the real you. Just like everyone suspected..."
Spread out on the table were photos of a woman, face masked, going in and out of a bar.
Although the woman''s face was
mostly hidden by a mask and a hat,
making her hard to identify, the
photos were tucked in the foldet
Nora used exclusively for gathering information on Amara. That meant this woman must be Amara.
And on closer inspection, the figure did resemble Amara''s.
So Amara was secretly frequenting bars and nightclubs? You''d never guess from her appearance. Liliana smirked, thinking about how Finn might react if he saw these.
Without dy, she grabbed the photos and went straight to Emma. As soon as they met, she said, "Mrs. Emma Everly lye found evidence of Amara''s wild behavior. Take a look at these photos-she''s going in and out of bars. She''s wearing a mask, probably before she recovered her looks."
Emma took the photos, her brows furrowing. "So she really is that kind of woman. How could Finn fall for someone like her?"
The thought made Emma furious.
Liliana quickly tried to soothe her. "Mrs. Everly, please don''t be upset. Finn just doesn''t know her true colors yet. Once he sees how reckless her private life is, he''ll definitely lose interest in her."
Emma''s lips curled into a cold smile. "Exactly. Once these pictures get out-once Finn sees the real her there''s no way he''ll still care for her."
