Chapter 633

Suddenly, Dorian spotted someone crouched by the roadside, crying. Curiosity made him look again, and he realized the figure seemed familiar. "Is that Amara?" he called out.

Finnian immediately lifted his head, following Dorian''s gaze.

When he saw the small figure huddled by the curb, his brow furrowed sharply. "Stop the car!"

Dorian hit the brakes, bringing the car to a halt right beside her.

    "Amara, what happened?"

Finnian hurried out, opening the car door and kneeling at her side, gently lifting her head. Seeing her small face streaked with tears and filled with sorrow, his heart twisted painfully. He asked, panicked, "Why are you out here crying? Did someone hurt you?"

Dorian also stepped out and leaned against the car door, watching them.

Amara, crying right outside his house-what was going on? Had shee to talk to Elysia, and they ended up fighting?

Amara wiped her tears away, pushed Finnian aside, and walked off without saying a word.

She was at her absolute limit with Finnian right now. The man was infuriating: about to marry Liliana, yet always finding excuses to be around her, leaving her emotions in chaos. At this moment, Amara''s hatred for him felt overwhelming.

    "Where are you going?"

Seeing her storm off in silence, Finnian grew anxious and moved to block her. “Let me take you home."

"I don''t need you. I can get home myself." Amara frowned, trying to push Finnian away.

Her cheeks were still streaked with tears, and she lookedpletely disheveled. And she was pregnant-how could Finnian possibly let her leave alone?

He took hold of her arm, his voice brooking no argument. "I''m taking you home."

Dragged forward a couple of steps, Amara grit her teeth and snapped in a low voice, "Finnian! Let go!"

Dorian watched from the sidelines, raising an eyebrow.

Finnian ignored her anger. "Let me get you home first. We can talk about everything elseter."

Amara was truly furious now. What did he mean, ''talkter''? She didn''t want him to take her home at all!

"I want to go by myself! Let go of me! I don''t want to go with you!" she burst out, her voice shaking with anger and resentment.

Finnian wouldn''t listen, pulling her toward Dorian''s car and opening the door for her.

"I''m taking you home," he repeated.

Amara was on the verge of exploding.

    Was this man incapable of

understanding in English? She''d told him before: they shouldn''t be meeting alone anymore. He was getting married, he shouldn''t be seeing his ex-wife. Why couldn''t he understand?

She was about to lose it. "I don''t want to go with you! Are you deaf?" she yelled.

"I already told you I don''t want to see you alone! Why do you keep messing me around? Is ying with my feelings fun for you? Do you have any idea how much pressure you''re putting on me? I can''t stand you!"

With those furious words, Amara turned and walked away.

Finnian stood frozen in ce, watching her retreating figure.

    His body trembled slightly.

So this was how much Amara despised him? She truly didn''t want to see him at all, and she thought he was just toying with her... Finnian''s heart ached so badly it felt like might break.
