Amara and Keith had escaped, but the woman with the prenatal report was still


    there. The reporters swarmed back, peppering her with questions, but they couldn''t get much more out of her.


    All she knew was that Amara was pregnant and she was certain the child wasn''t Keith''s. Beyond that, she knew nothing.


    Still, that was more than enough material to fuel headlines for days. After grilling her, the reporters left, satisfied.


    In a luxury car parked down the street, the window slowly rolled down. Emma took off her sunsses, a smile ying on her lips as she watched Amara and Keith''s car disappear into the distance.


    From this day on, Amara was ruined.


    After news broke that she was pregnant out of wedlock with a child that wasn''t her fiancé''s, Keith would surely dump her without a second thought.


    No other man would want her after this. And once Finnian saw Amara''s true colors, he woulde to his senses and obediently marry Liliana. Then, she would pay a visit to the pathetic Amara and mock her to her face.

    She opened her phone. Since the reporters had been live-streaming, the news had already exploded online. She took a screenshot of the headline and sent it as a picture message to Edith, then rolled up the window and told her driver to go.

    Once they were in the car, Keith and Amara finally had a moment to calm down, but the shock and anger from what had just happened still lingered.


    Amara huddled in the passenger seat, wrapping her arms around herself. She still felt cold, and her eyes reddened as she fought back tears.


    Keith''s face was so dark it looked like a storm cloud.


    He drove for a while until he found a deserted spot, then pulled over. He turned to Amara, his voice full of guilt. "Today was obviously a setup. I think it was aimed at me. I''m so sorry I dragged you into this."


    The woman with the report might have looked like a fan, but was she really? She was probably an actress hired by someone else.


    Amara shook her head. "No, I think this was targeting me."


    There were so many people who hated her she could tick off a long list on her fingers: Elowen, Fiona, Amelia, Emma...


    With so many enemies, who could be behind this?


    More importantly, how did they find out she was pregnant?


    So far, the only people who knew were Finnian, Elysia, Keith, Dorian, and the doctors at the hospital.
