"Let here in and take a seat," Thaddeus said, his stern expression softening a bit.
It took a while, but under Debby''s gentle persuasion, Elsie finally entered the
room, her head bowed in humility.
"Mr. Thadson, thank you," she said, giving him a deep nod of gratitude.
Ever since she was rescued, she hadn''t properly thanked Thaddeus, never finding the right moment.
"No need," Thaddeus replied, his gaze deep, "The person who saved you was Elvis."
"I''ve spent a long time living in Grandview with Avery. I know this country well enough, I hope I can be of help to you," Elsie stated earnestly.
Thaddeus was taken aback, realizing that she had been under Avery''smand and must know him well. There was no one more suitable!
Elsie stood by the table, looking over a map marked with numerous red crosses, and she shook her head slightly:
"This isn''t the right way to go about it. You should start looking at the unregistered or privately purchased inds around Grandview.
These well-known inds are owned by the state, and with other residents living on them, it''s not easy to hide one''s identity. Plus, the police can easily search these areas.
If I were Avery, I wouldn''t hide here."
Thaddeus furrowed his brow, "So, you think he''s hiding on one of these nameless inds?"
"Yes. But it''s not just the nameless ones, the private inds need to be checked too. It''s very likely Avery bought one under a false identity or someone else''s name. These inds are secluded, rarely visited by anyone, and as private property, the Grandview officials hardly regte them."
Thaddeus''s eyes sparkled with admiration for Elsie.
"I''ll get someone topile a list of these purchased inds and their owners'' information right away!" Debby perked up, ready to take action.
Thadson was anxious, "How long will it take?"
"Even if they''re private purchases, there are still transaction records, registered. We''ll call thend department, get it organized, and have it sent over quickly!"
...
Two hourster, the Ashbourne family members gradually returned.
They gathered in the study, looking over a heap of buyer information and ind registration details sprawled across the table, overwhelmed.
Elvis wrapped his arms around Elsie''s slender shoulders, his gaze dark, "If we investigate these buyers one by one, it''s going to be a huge task and we''ll waste a lot of time!
We can''t dy any longer for Evadne!"
Thaddeus, with his keen observation skills, scanned through the ind
registration documents. His memory might not match Evadne''s, but it was exceptional among ordinary people.
Suddenly, his gaze froze-
ROSE.
An ind named "ROSE" caught his deep, dark eyes.
"ROSE... ROSE..."
Thaddeus''s fingers trembled as he picked up that document, gripping it tightly, muttering to himself.
The others exchanged puzzled looks, not understanding his reaction.
"Avery... was Avery''s mother''s private clinic also named ''ROSE''?" he suddenly asked.
Realization dawned on Elsie, and she nodded vigorously:
"Yes, Avery loved the symbol of the ROSE, often using it to represent Ms.
Evadne. So, his properties in Grandview, from clubs and vis to clinics, were all named ''ROSE''."
Love hidden in whispers, ROSE hiding affection.
Thaddeus felt a strong premonition surge through his chest, overwhelming and undeniable!
"Let''s head to ROSE Ind!"
Cassius widened his eyes, asking, "When do we leave?"
"Now!"
