Avery''s deep eyes sparkled with excitement, yet his voice was dry, filled with remorse, "But, I fear I can never return to Elmsworth.

"You are indeed, damned," Chad''s voice suddenly deepened.
Avery felt as though he was being strangled on the spot, a strong sensation of suffocation making it hard for him to breathe, his back drenched in cold sweat.
"However, this time, you''ve secured Ms. Evadne, taking away my brother''s true love, as good as taking his life."
Chadughed heartily, "I consider your debt repaid."
"Thank you... Thank Mr. Chambers for your forgiveness, thank you for making this happen for us!" Avery''s tense body rxed instantly, a bead of sweat trailing down his pale cheek.
"To get Ms. Evadne, you even used your own mother as a pawn, exploiting her, even watching her die before your eyes."
Chad''s smile grew thicker, it was unclear whether he truly admired him or was mocking, "Honestly, I do admire your ruthlessness."
Avery''s heart twisted painfully, tears blurring his vision of the beautiful woman.
For her, the immense pain of losing his only kin crushed him, his entire being felt shattered, every part aching.

On the table, there was a beautiful mahogany box, his heart sinking.
This box wasn''t there in the afternoon.

Avery approached the coffee table step by step, lifting the lid of the box with one hand-
Inside, were three pills.
One white, one grey, one ck.

Avery shuddered, closing his eyes tightly!
He had also considered that upon waking, Evadne might rather die than stay, fearing the ROSE he so painstakingly acquired would wither and perish.
That would be more unbearable than death itself.
"What will happen to Evadne after taking this pill?"
Avery''s voice trembled, "Will she be a vegetable, or...pletely lose her memory?"
"She won''t be a vegetable, nor will shepletely lose her memory. But, she will endure immense pain for a while."
Chadughed again, as if discussing something amusing, "However, I guarantee, after enduring the pain, you and she will have a fresh start.
