    The infinite darkness of the night sky was alive with the rumbling of thunder, as if the heavens themselves were about to copse, unleashing chaos upon the

    Avery stood with his back to Harvey, his hands sped behind him. His posture was as majestic and immovable as a snow-capped mountain, showing not a hint of surrender, despondence, or defeat. Yet, there was an underlying sense of poignant loneliness.

    Like a spectacr firework piercing the night, Elmsworth was lit up in a breathtaking disy of light and color, magnificent and intense. Yet in the end, all that was left was the cold dust of reality.


    "I longed for so much. I longed to return to Elmsworth, to make the Chambers family pay, to reim what was mine, to be the master of Elmsworth for Sir. But in the end, I realized none of that mattered to me. All along, all I wanted was to be with Evadne."


    Harvey closed his eyes, feeling a deep sorrow, wanting to offerfort but finding words inadequate in the face of such emotion.

    Avery slowly closed his eyes, envisioning his beloved, her eyes sparkling, standing amidst a sea of brilliant roses, beckoning him with joy:

    Avery gripped the railing tightly with his left hand, his right hand trembling as he covered his tearful eyes, his proud figure copsing, bending with the weight of his sorrow. "Evadne, I never changed. But you... you did."


    Harvey stepped forward, hesitating to draw too close. He had never seen Mr. Chambers show such a vulnerable, pitiable side. But he couldn''t say that even if given another chance, Evadne would still, without hesitation, choose Thaddeus. It wasn''t just fate; love is uncontroble, elusive.


    More importantly, Evadne and Thaddeus shared the same vision, the same goals,plementing each other perfectly.
