    "It was a suicide, but it was Avery who drove him to it. He even crafted a fake suicide note in advance and had awyer bring it to him to carry. That way, after his death, with my influence, the police would quickly close the case, ruling it as suicide."


    Aaron frowned, still puzzled. "Warner was set to inherit the Bright empire. Mr. Bright, with his pride and ambition, how could he be so easily manipted by you guys?"


    "Because Avery had something on him that could ruin him."


    Wayne''s eye twitched. "Warner was one of Avery''s key partners in Elmsworth. He was deceived into thinking he was trafficking a new kind of drug that would make him a fortune. That''s what Avery led him to believe at the beginning.


    But Warner had no idea he was just helping Avery conduct human trials for a drug. Avery never intended to profit from it. The offer was too tempting, and that''s why Warner took the risk to work with him."

    Aaron''s eyes widened in rage, "And the girl''s body? How did you dispose of it?!"


    "In the eastern district, there''s a construction site with a partiallyid concrete foundation. I dumped her there."
