Chapter 695 He Was Her Nephew Anyway

Martin was stunned. He had only been hired after Saxon arrived and knew nothing about Pavers or the others trus identities. So when he heard Raven say she was heading to Forreb, his mind instantly tranted it as I''m going there to die."

Putting aside how dangerous Forreb is, people like us-ordinary folks-aren''t even qualified to set foot there if Mr. Brown were still around, maybe he could''ve pulled some strings and gotten you clearance to enter. But now that he''s gone. Maybe you should reconsider and talk it over with him first?

Martin had no idea what kind of position George held in Forreb, nor whether he truly had the power to get Raven an entry permit. But whatever the case, having her talk it over with George seemed far safer than letting her charge in alone Raven paused to think. If she asked her mentor to apply for the entry permit on her behalf, it would likely take time, time she couldn''t afford to waste. And even then, she wasn''t sure George could get the clearance quickly enough.

The procedures for Forrebians to travel to other worlds were already notoriouslyplicated, withyers of strict regtions. For outsiders trying to enter Forreb, the process was even more difficult.

"No need. I''m leaving now," Raven said briefly, having decided to force her way through the Spatial Gate. For those without proper documentation, forcing through the gate was the quickest way into Forreb.

"Roar!" The white lion lounging in the courtyard suddenly burst into the vi. It ran straight to Raven''s side and mped its jaws gently around the hem of her skirt.

"You don''t want me to go to Forreb either?" Raven looked down at the white lion, eyes narrowing in thought. A sudden idea crossed her: ''Could it havee from Forreb?''

After all, a white lion of this size couldn''t possibly exist in this world. Raven had initially assumed it was some gic mutation, but now, she wasn''t so sure. Perhaps this lion dide from Forreb.

"Is it dangerous over there?" Raven asked.

"Roar!" The white lion shook its head vigorously, then gestured toward themunication chip, clearly worried that Raven was still set on breaking through the Spatial Gate. After all, it was at that very gate they had been separated once before. Unfortunately, Raven didn''t catch its meaning-she remained determined to go.

"Miss Valor, since you''re heading to Forreb, let me take you there," Martin said as he walked over, holding the car keys. "You''re going to take me?" Raven nced at Martin, a strange look crossing her face. "Do you even know how to get to Forreb from here?"

"Huh? Isn''t Forreb connected to every world through a Spatial Point?" Martin scratched his head, looking confused. "I''ve been there before with Saxon, so I know the way."

"Spatial Point?" Raven paused momentarily, a hint of surprise on her face. It had been five years since she left Forreb- things must have changed considerably quickly. At least, she had never heard of something like a spatial point before. "Miss Valor... you don''t know how to get to Forreb, do you?" Martin asked cautiously, noticing the odd expression on Raven''s face.

"Then tell me, how do we get to Forreb?" Raven asked.

"Well... first, you need the proper documents from Forreb," Martin said, forcing the words out. Honestly, he only knew the basics. "But Miss Valor, since you don''t have the necessary documents and don''t want to contact Mr. Brown, why not try using thatmunication chip?"

"That could work..." Martin''s words suddenly reminded her. Themunication chip in her hand was from Forreb. If she had reached the spatial point and the security wasn''t too strict, there might have been a way to get through.

Sneaking through the spatial point was far safer than forcing her through the spatial gate. She still needed to find Cassian and couldn''t afford to exhaust too much energy.

"Then drive me there," Raven said as she headed out. Suddenly, she paused and added, "Afterward, take Benedict to Saxon, and look after him for me."

Raven had initially nned to say goodbye to Benedict, but she worried he would end up in tears. After all, Benedict was her nephew, and Saxon would surely find

a way to get him an entry permit to Forreb. There would be plenty of opportunities to see him again in the future.
