    Ronald paused, as he spoke on the phone with Stephen. But his gaze was drawn to fan, who was sitting on his bike. While looking at the ss door of a tattoo shop,n was smoking a cigarette.


    "Ronald, you know I was mad at him. But then Ava-"


    "Again Ava? What''s wrong with you, Stéph? Are you still thinking about her? She looks happy with her boyfriend, Luke. What aboutn? Can''t you see his situation?"


    Stephen was silent. As his gaze remained fixed onn, Ronald exhaled deeply and let out a long breath. He could not see his best friend in this state.


    Over the past few days,n had stopped using his father''s belongings, which included his father''s money and vehicles. He started smoking more than he had before and stopped talking to everyone. Because he was broke, he wanted to drink but could not do it. On the other hand, he was the kind of person who would never ask his friends for financial assistance.


    Rnd used to believe that makingn realize his feelings for Ava would make everything right. That was why he was mockingn about his feelings.


    Who expected the situation to turn out the other way, with his best friend losing himself?
