Chapter 695

Bradley''s handsome face was as cold as ice as he raised his hand to push away

the microphones that were practically shoved into Cameron''s mouth.

His eyes behind the gold-rimmed sses glinted with a chilling light as he fixed

his gaze on one of the reporters. "First of all, jumping to conclusions before the

facts are clear is incredibly foolish. As Cameron''s attorney, I can sue you for

    defaming her

    character."

"Second, what do you mean by ''basically a murderer''? You reporters, carelessly

pping onbels like that isn''t that a kind of murder, too?"

The reporters'' questions were sharp, but Bradley''s retort was even sharper.

For a moment, the reporters were silent.

But then, the middle-aged woman suddenly lunged at Cameron like a

    madwoman.

"Cameron! You owe me for my son! I had himte in life, nearly died giving birth to

him, and it took everything I had to raise him to six years old. You killed him- now

    you should pay with

    your life for my son!"

Of course, she never got anywhere near Cameron.

Before she could reach her, Bradley stepped in, pushing the woman away and

    shielding Cameron behind him.

Thepany''s security guards quickly arrived, restraining the woman and

    separating her from the reporters.

    "Ms. Yates," David rushed over.

David really didn''t want Cameron to show up here at all.

''She''s still so young – how could she possibly deal with such a situation?'' he

    thought worriedly.

Cameron''s beautiful face was unreadable as she walked straight toward the

    stretcher lying on the ground.

    She crouched down.

"Don''t touch my son! Cameron, you murderer! Don''t you dare touch my son! I''ll

tear you apart!" the restrained woman screamed hysterically.

Cameron acted as if she didn''t hear a thing. She pinched the corner of the white

sheet between her fingers. "Forgive me."

With that, she lifted the sheet.

All eyes immediately snapped to this side.

Lying on the stretcher was a little boy, around six years old.

His face was very pale, a sickly white.

Cameron''s fingers instinctively reached for the boy''s carotid artery, checking for

    his pulse.

She felt that his whole body was ice-cold, but his carotid pulse was still faintly

    beating.

    Cameron''s eyes narrowed slightly.

"No! Cameron, you murderer! Don''t touch my son!" the woman yelled,

Cameron turned and gave the woman a frosty re.

"Mr. Tucker, call the police right now. Someone''s deliberately trying to ckmail

us and smear Aurevia Biotech''s name," she said.

    The middle-aged woman was stunned.

She had been struggling like a madwoman, but at Cameron''s words, she froze for

a moment. Then, just a few secondster, she started thrashing even harder,

screaming, "Cameron! You murderer! You killed my son!"

Cameron sneered, "Ma''am, your son isn''t dead. How much did they pay you to

    The middle-aged woman fell silent.

Her pupils shrank, and after a long pause, she shouted, "You''re talking nonsense!

My son is dead! He died because of your damn so-called miracle drug! You owe

    me for my son!"

Cameron didn''t even bother to look at her. She just turned to the stunned David

and said, "Mr. Tucker, call the police and an

    ambnce."

David was so shocked, he couldn''t even speak a word.

He just stood there in a daze, staring at Cameron.

Before Cameron hade back, he''d already had thepany staff check on

the little boy, and they said the boy was definitely

    dead.

So why was Cameron saying the boy was still alive now?

Seeing David still frozen in shock, Bradley said, "I''ll handle it."

He immediately stepped aside to make the call.

The reporters were all staring in shock, their eyes wide.

Before long, they started firing off questions again, this time even more frantically.
