Chapter 2961

    ?Chapter 2961:

The air conditioning hummed steadily, filling the room with a prating chill.

Hadley shivered as the cool air kissed her exposed skin. Eric had torn her dress again.

“Are you angry with me?” Eric’s eyes darkened, his chest rising and falling as he offered his exnation. “Sorry. It’s been a while, and I just got carried away.”

    “Humph!”

Hadley puffed her cheeks, irritation shing across her face. This wasn’t the first time he’d pulled this stunt. She wondered when he’d ever break this infuriating habit.

    ????????????е???? gа??n??vе???.с???? ??о у?????? ????iеn???

“Come on, don’t be angry.” Eric’s voice softened as he tried to cate her. “I’ll buy you another one, the exact same dress. A hundred of them if you want!”

Even his apologies followed the same tired script.

Hadley red at him, her voice rising sharply. “Why buy that many? So you can rip them apart all over again?”

“Hmm?” Eric raised an eyebrow, appearing to genuinely consider the possibility.

“It’s not impossible. Should I be the one choosing the clothes I like from now on?”

“What?” Hadley stared at him, stunned. He wanted to pick her clothes too?

“Haha.” Eric chuckled, his chin tilting upward with amusement. “Just kidding. I wouldn’t dare make that call. You pick whatever you like. If it makes you happy, it makes me happy too.”

    She’d reached her limit!

Hadley shoved at him with both hands. “Get up! Get up! Out! Get out right now!”

“Hey, don’t be mad.” Eric’srge hands closed around hers, his voice dropping to a low, husky murmur. “Let’s make the most of this moment, okay?”

What moment was he talking about?

Hadley understood what he meant perfectly.

Yet she continued pushing against him, shaking her head firmly. “I really can’t tonight!”

“You can’t?” Eric’s brows drew together. “What’s wrong?”

“I…” Hadley bit her lip, her voice dropping to a whisper. “It’s that time of the month.”

She added softly, “If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.”

    “Let me check.”

Eric nced downward, and one look told him everything he needed to know.

No wonder she’d disappeared into the bathroom for so long.

“s…” Eric released a heavy sigh.

“Are you still not getting up?”

Hadley prodded him with her elbow.

    “Hadley.”

Instead of moving, Eric buried his head deeper into the curve of her neck. His voice carried a strained edge.

Hadley froze, her hands stilling against him.

She heard him murmur against her skin, “Hadley, I’m really ufortable.”

Ufortable in a way that required no further exnation.

Heat flooded Hadley’s cheeks. She whispered, “Sorry. I can’t help you with that.”

Eric fell silent for a moment before suggesting, “Maybe you could think of another way?”
