    “So, is Elvin your agent or a director?”


    “Director,” Hadley answered.


    “Since I signed with him, he’s been handling my agent work on the side, too.”


    “That’s not a good idea.” Ernest frowned and shook his head.


    “Can he really juggle both jobs? After all, being a director is his main profession. You’d be better off with a dedicated agent.” He paused, then asked her, “Would it be alright if I helped you find someone?”


    “Of course,” said Hadley, setting her coffee cup down and nodding earnestly.


    She understood that Ernest only wanted what was best for her, and she felt grateful for it.


    “Alright.” Ernest gave a thoughtful nod.


    “I’ve got an idea. You’ll need to make sure your whole team is well-organized.”


    “But…” Hearing his suggestion, Hadley hesitated again.


    “It’s just… I already signed a contract with Elvin…”


    “It’s nothing.” Ernest flicked his hand.


    “Adding more people to your team won’t change the terms of your contract. East Entertainment Media has done this kind of thing countless times. If you’re nning to stick around in this industry, then this is the kind of move you’ll eventually have to make.”


    “Alright.” Hadley gave a small nod. She no longer objected.


    “I’ll listen to you.”

    “As I mentioned before, the moment there was any new development, I would inform you right away…”


    “So…” Hadley tightened her grip on the phone.


    “There’s news?”


    “Yes,” Ellis replied.


    “From the recent interrogations, we’ll be working with officials in Ontmond to have Linda brought back for questioning.”


    “What!”


    Hadley sprang to her feet before he even finished.


    Ernest and Eric both turned toward her at once, puzzled by her reaction.


    “Alright…” Hadley struggled to keep herposure, her voice trembling with excitement.


    “I get it now. Thank you.” She ended the call and slowly set her phone down, her eyes clear and bright as she turned toward her brothers.
