Chapter 2816

    ?Chapter 2816:

Seeing Locke lively and in good spirits, Hadley finally felt reassured. She sent Ernest a quick message to let him know everything was fine.

As always during PE ss, Locke slipped away to his usual spot.

And, as expected, Savannah was waiting.

“Grandma.” Locke ran up to her.

“Hey.” Savannah’s face softened into a smile.

    “Good boy.”

“Grandma,” he said, his voice steady. Locke’s small fists were clenched with determination, his eyes holding a quiet resolve.

Savannah noticed his seriousness at once.

“Locke, have you decided what you want to do?”

    “Yes.” He nodded.

“Grandma, I… I want to go with you. I want to be with Mom.”

    Tears welled in Savannah’s eyes.

Ovee with joy, she pulled him into a tight embrace.

“You truly are your mother’s most precious treasure!”

“Grandma.” Locke’s voice remained calm, even though he was only a child.

“How will we leave? When will we go?”

“Don’t worry.” Savannah smoothed his hair, her tone low and deliberate.

“I’ve made all the arrangements. I’ll tell you everything—if you think you can remember it, just nod when I say it, alright?”

“I will. I’m good at remembering things.” Locke bobbed his head earnestly.

“Good boy. I know you’re smart. Your mom told me so…”

After PE ss, Locke returned to his ssroom.

Joy quickly handed him a water bottle.

    ?????????????????? ?????????????? ??????????: ?????????ν???????????????

“Here, Locke. Drink some water. Mom says drinking plenty is good for you.”

“Okay.” Locke epted it with a faint smile. The water was warm.

    “Thanks.”

“Locke?” Joy leaned closer, peering at him with concern.

“What’s wrong? Are you feeling sick again?”

    “No.” Locke shook his head.

“Really?” She pressed her forehead to his, paring.

    “Doesn’t seem hot…”

    “I don’t have a fever.”

“Okay.” Joy frowned, unconvinced. Something about her cousin felt differenttely—especially today.

But Locke was too preupied to notice her gaze. His thoughts were consumed by whaty ahead.

Savannah had told him that in just a few days, she woulde for him.

Security at Flynn Mansion was airtight—guards and chauffeurs shadowed him everywhere. Taking him from home or during themute was impossible.

The school was the only chance.

Even here, management was strict. But unlike home, Locke could at least move freely without nannies breathing down his neck.

Savannah had reassured him he wouldn’t need to bring anything. His mother had already prepared everything.
