?Chapter 2741:
“What?” Hadley exchanged a tense nce with Ernest. Was Bianca nning to stay silent to the very end?
“What should we do?” Hadley’s hands balled into fists. If they couldn’t get her to talk, what was the point of catching her?
Footsteps approached, quick and firm—the tap of a cane striking the floor.
“Mr. Flynn! Hadley!”
“Mr. Scott.”
“Mr. Scott.”
“Yes.” Ferris nodded, his pace brisk.
“Where is Bianca?”
Cristian answered at once, “In the interrogation room—but she won’t speak.”
“She will!” Ferris replied sharply.
“Arrange for me to meet her.”
“Right away.” Cristian left at once to handle it.
Ferris turned to Hadley.
“You’ve done well.”
His eyes narrowed with a quiet chuckle.
“It seems you and Eric are truly bound by fate.”
How else could one exin it? After all their failed efforts, Bianca hadnded right in Hadley’s hands.
“The two of you… it’s as if the heavens themselves decreed it,” the old man murmured.
Ferris’ tone had softened when he spoke of Hadley and Eric, a subtle shift that hinted at a change in his heart.
Yet Hadley stood speechless, her words caught in her throat. She could sense Ellis’ eyes on her, steady and unwavering, watching from the sidelines.
“Mr. Scott!” Cristian’s voice broke the moment as he stepped forward.

“Everything is ready. You can head in now. This way, please.”
“Very well,” Ferris replied with a nod, his cane tapping lightly as he took a step forward.
He paused, casting a nce at Ernest and Hadley.
“No need to fret. Once Bianca sees me, she’ll open up.”
His words carried weight, and Ernest and Hadley caught the meaning instantly.
Jett and E were still at Olisvale Bay…
Ferris knew his daughter like the back of his hand. If he was this confident, it was time for Bianca’s children to y their part.
Ernest gave Hadley a reassuring nod.
“Let’s bide our time.”
“Alright,” Hadley murmured.
The minutes crawled by as Ferris remained inside the interview room with Bianca.
In the reception room, Hadley was a bundle of nerves, unable to stay seated. She paced restlessly, finally nting herself by the door, as if proximity could hasten answers.
Ellis stood by her side, a silent sentinel, offering quietpanionship in her anxious state.
From across the room, Ernest’s gaze lingered on them.
