?Chapter 2739:
Ellis stiffened, his eyes lighting up.
“Good! I’ll take care of it—wait here for me!”
Without another word, he turned and strode back into the club. Hadley stood frozen, her vision blurring until Ellis’s figure became a smear of motion.
Momentster, chaos erupted inside the club…
“It’s done!” Ellis jogged back, his voice brisk.
“Security has sealed all exits!”
If Hadley hadn’t been mistaken—if Bianca was truly inside—there was no escape now.
“Just hold on… I’ve already called for backup. The police will be here any minute.”
“Okay.” Hadley sped her damp palms together, nerves coiled tight.
At that moment, she could think of nothing else.
Her gaze stayed locked on the club entrance, unblinking, praying that in the next heartbeat—Bianca would appear.
The wail of sirens drew near. Ellis shot her a look.
“I need to go. Stay put, and when things get busy, don’t wander off.” He couldn’t keep her safe if the crowd thickened.
Hadley only nodded, eyes downcast, lips sealed. Ellis hesitated, but then quickly turned away.
With the police’s arrival, the entire club was sealed off.
The entrance buzzed with activity.
Hadley held her breath, her pulse quickening.
Finally, Ellis emerged—not alone. Bianca was with him!
Hadley flung open the car door, stumbling out as her feet rushed her forward.
Her eyes found Bianca, tears instantly brimming. Her voice cracked, hoarse with disbelief.
“It really is you!”

“Yes.” Ellis answered for her.
“You weren’t mistaken—it’s her.”
Bianca’s head jerked up, eyes full of venom as they met Hadley’s.
Without her mask or hat, her hair was a wild mess, and her look was disheveled and fierce.
She sneered.
“So you did recognize me!”
How? She had been so careful, so covered—how had Hadley seen through her disguise?
“Tch!” She spat in contempt, snarling, “You wretched brat!”
“Watch your tongue!” Ellis’s sharp voice cut through, his frown darkening as he gestured.
“Take her away!”
“Yes, sir!”
Hadley clenched her fists, tears stinging as she stared at Bianca. One thought pulsed through her—now, Eric would be saved.
“You…” Ellis caught her ssy eyes, his Adam’s apple shifting as he pulled a tissue from his pocket and held it out.
“Here.”
