Chapter 2725

    ?Chapter 2725:

Yet the evidence before him painted an entirely different reality—one in which his hopes held no foundation whatsoever.

The reasons behind Hadley and Eric’s previous separation remained a mystery to Ellis, but their future trajectory had be painfully predictable.

The moment Eric’s legal troubles concluded and freedom returned to him, nothing would prevent their inevitable reunion. Even in the worst-case scenario—should Eric face conviction, imprisonment, or other devastating consequences—Hadley would undoubtedly maintain her unwavering loyalty to him, effectively closing the door on Ellis and every other potential suitor.

“Heh.” A bitter, humorless sound escaped Ellis’ throat.

Regardless of how events unfolded, he found himself trapped in an impossible scenario.

Did any path exist that might alter this predetermined fate?

As evening shadows lengthened across the grounds, once Joy had surrendered to peaceful slumber, Hadley quietly departed from Flynn Mansion.

Her destination was Olisvale Bay, where the majority of Eric’s personal possessions remained stored, awaiting her careful collection.

When Ernest discovered her intentions, he positioned himself by the entrance, determined to escort her on this difficult journey.

“Your timing couldn’t be more ideal—I have urgent business to discuss with Mr. Scott anyway.”

Multiple days had psed without a single word ofmunication from Ferris.

With Eric confined behind bars, each passing hour became an exercise in psychological survival.

Therefore, Ernest and Hadley embarked on their shared mission to Olisvale Bay.

The household staff greeted their arrival with practiced courtesy, ushering them into the elegantly appointed living room.

“Mr. Flynn, Miss Pearson, please make yourselvesfortable.” The servant gestured toward the upper level.

“Mr. Scott is currently sharing dinner with Mrs. Scott in their private dining room. He will join you once their meal concludes.”

    ??????????? ¢???ρ???????? ?????????????????﹒?????

“Of course.” Ernest acknowledged with understanding, his knowledge of Milly’s delicate health preventing any impatience on his part.

He settled into the plush seating beside Hadley and said with resigned eptance, “We’ll give them the time they need.”

“Ernest,” Hadley said with practical efficiency, “perhaps I should make my way to Eric’s quarters and begin gathering his belongings.”

The arrangement would maximize their productivity.

“Excellent idea.” Ernest endorsed her n immediately.

    “Proceed without dy.”

Should Ferris descend before Hadley made it back, they could address their business without her anyway. Any additional developments could bemunicated to Hadley upon her return.

“I’ll get started then,” Hadley announced, pivoting toward the discreet side entrance that led to the south wing.

Havingpleted her careful collection of Eric’s possessions, she stepped out from the building only to discover two unfamiliar vehicles stationed before the main residence.

Metal hinges creaked as the car doors swung wide, revealing Cordell as he emerged with predatory grace.

Behind him materialized the Scott family’s imposing security detail.
