Chapter 2618

    ?Chapter 2618:

Hadley stayed behind to oversee family matters and quickly noticed that N seemed unwell.

Unable to supervise the children while attending to N, Hadley entrusted both Locke and Joy to their experienced nannies, ensuring they were in capable hands. She then focused on N, offering attentive care and support.

The family physician apanying them conducted a thorough examination and confirmed that N was not seriously ill; she was simply exhausted.

Hadley arranged afortable resting space for N and remained nearby to provide reassurance and emotional support. After her restorative nap, N’splexion regained its healthy glow, and she slowly opened her eyes, offering a tender, affectionate smile.

    “Hadley,” she said softly.

“Did you manage to get some quality rest?” Hadley asked gently, holding N’s hand.

“You barely touched your lunch earlier. Is there anything special you’re craving now?”

“Let me think…” N paused thoughtfully.

“I believe I’d enjoy something light and warm—something simple andforting for the stomach. How about some soup?”

“Perfect,” Hadley replied with a reassuring smile.

“I’ll have that prepared right away.”

She quietly stepped outside, deciding to handle the preparation herself rather than consulting the ind’s kitchen staff, since their trusted family chef had apanied them.

With N and the two children in her care, Hadley was determined to ensure they had familiar, forting foods during their stay.

“Miss Pearson, what would you like me to prepare?” the family chef asked respectfully.

“Please prepare some warm soup,” Hadley requested gently.

    “Certainly,” the chef replied.

Hadley continued thoughtfully, “Also, could you have some snacks ready for Locke and Joy this afternoon?”

“Perfectly understood,” the chef replied with professional efficiency.

One of the household staff approached with purpose.

“Miss Pearson, the kitchen staff has delivered various brands of bottled water. Which brand would you prefer for the family?”

“Let me check,” Hadley acknowledged with a nod.

Since the private ind had no natural source of drinking water, all beverages had to be transported from the maind. She stepped outside into the tropical air, where several delivery workers stood patiently beside their loaded truck, awaiting her instructions. Hadley gestured toward three different brands with decisive rity.

“These three varieties will work perfectly. Please bring them all inside.”

    “Right away,” the staff responded.

After ensuring all arrangements were properly handled, Hadley pivoted to return indoors but suddenly noticed an unfamiliar man standing at the main entrance. He was impably dressed in a pristine white shirt with a jacket casually draped over his forearm, his head tilted curiously as he observed the property.

    Who could this stranger be?
