Chapter 2533

    ?Chapter 2533:

“Yes.” Phillips studied both of them, taking in their exhausted and disheveled appearance—Eric looked particrly drained.

“Mr. Scott, the car is waiting. Would you prefer to head to the hotel first? You could freshen up and change into clean clothes.”

    “Alright,” Eric agreed quietly.

    “This way, please.”

When they reached the car, a bodyguard stepped forward and pulled the door open.

Eric and Hadley slipped into the car one after the other, and as the vehicle pulled away from the curb, silence settled between them.

Within minutes, they had reached the hotel.

They stepped out of the car, with Eric immediately taking the lead.

Phillips remained beside Hadley, exining, “Let’s head up together. The rooms are right next to each other.”

    “Okay.” Hadley nodded gratefully.

    “Thank you for arranging everything.”

“You’re wee—it’s simply my duty,” Phillips replied with a slight bow.

A bodyguard slid the key card through the reader, and Eric pushed through the door into his room.

“Phillips,” Eric called out before the door could close.

“Yes, sir.” Phillips stepped inside after him.

    “Mr. Scott.”

Eric reached into his pocket and withdrew a small box of cold medicine—the same medicine he had purchased for Hadley earlier.

    “Take this to her.”

His mind had been such a chaotic whirlwind that he hadpletely forgotten about the medicine.

“Alright.” Phillips epted the box without hesitation.

    “I’ll deliver it immediately.”

He then produced a sleek new phone from his jacket pocket and offered it to Eric.

“Mr. Scott, all your information has been synced to this new one, and we’ve changed every password for security. You’ll need to reset them to your preferences.”

“Understood.” Eric epted the phone and quietly closed the door behind Phillips.

Phillips pivoted and walked the few steps to the adjacent room.

He pressed the doorbell, and momentster, Hadley appeared, her expression showing mild surprise mixed with uncertainty.

    “Phillips? What’s going on?”

Phillips extended the medicine box toward her.

“Mr. Scott requested that I deliver this to you.”

Understanding dawned on Hadley’s face as she reached out to ept it.

    “Thank you.”

Phillips remained in the doorway, shifting his weight as he carefully considered his next words.

“Hadley, is there truly no possibility of reconciliation between you and Mr. Scott?”

The unexpected question caught Hadleypletely off guard, leaving her momentarily speechless.
