Chapter 1591

    ?Chapter 1591:

“Here.” Ernest leaned forward and began cutting steak for her. “Take your time.”

    “Thank you.”

From the way he moved to the way he spoke, Ernest was every inch the elite heir. He had been born into luxury and carried it with him like a second skin. No wonder he stood out so easily from the rest.

Bonnie was captivated. The dishes were exquisite, the wine divine, and thepany even better. For her, the evening couldn’t have been going more perfectly.

Ernest pressed the service bell, and a waiter stepped in promptly.

“We’d like to take the bill, please.”

    “Certainly, sir.”

The waiter walked away and quickly returned with the bill. “The totales to 320 thousand dors. Would you like to review the bill?”

“Please give it to thedy across from me.” Ernest nodded toward Bonnie and spoke in a calm and casual tone. “The meal today is on thedy.”

“Of course.” The waiter turned with a polite smile and handed the bill to Bonnie.

“Ma’am, the total is 320 thousand dors. Will you be paying by card or check?”

“Excuse me?” Bonnie stared at Ernest, pletely at a loss. Her jaw hung open, lips twitching in disbelief. “Mr. Flynn…”

Across from her, Ernest leaned back in his chair, calm and unreadable as he regarded her.

Color drained from Bonnie’s cheeks as she forced an uneasy smile. “You’re not serious, are you?”

Was she really expected to foot the bill?

“What now?” Ernest arched an eyebrow, a faint snort slipping out. His sharp gaze left her feeling pinned to the spot. “I remember you promising to buy me lunch when we talked on the phone.”

She never mentioned anything about meeting up at Cozyroom.

Bonnie shook her head, looking exasperated. “You were the one who insisted oning here to Cozyroom.”

“And what’s wrong with that?” Ernest lowered his eyes a touch. Even while sitting across from her, he carried himself with a smug confidence. “I am Ernest Flynn. If you’re inviting me out, Cozyroom is the absolute minimum. I thought you understood at least that much.”

Bonnie stared at him, herplexion turning ghostly pale.

Ernest turned his attention elsewhere, refusing to meet her gaze.

He looked at the waiter and gave a crisp order. “Have her pay for everything. If she tries to leave without paying, call the police.”

    “Understood, Mr. Flynn.”

Only now did Bonnie fully grasp what was unfolding.

She threw a furious re at him. “You nned this! You wanted me to walk right into your trap. You’re trying to con me.”

“Con you?” Ernest scoffed, shaking his head. “You’re letting your imagination run wild.”
