?Chapter 1411:
A got dropped by East Entertainment? Could it really be Eric’s doing? Would he really turn so cold on someone he once cared for?
“Hi, Hadley!” Chelsey approached, holding out a cup. “Fresh Butter Latte. Just the way you like it.”
“Thanks,” Hadley said with a soft smile, epting the cup and taking a grateful sip.
“We’ve got a nice break today,” she added. “Why don’t we invite Tamara out for a proper lunch instead of the packed meal we have every day?”
“Great idea!” Chelsey beamed. “I’ll go get Tamara.”
They didn’t venture far—just a cozy restaurant inside the film citypound. But it was busy, and they were told to wait for a table.
“Hadley, you sit here,” Chelsey said, pulling over a chair. “I’ll wait in line.”
Tamara naturally stayed by Hadley’s side.
Hadley eyed the long line, silently estimating how long they’d have to wait to be served.

The sudden shout broke through the chatter around her.
She turned instinctively—and there she was. A.
Of course, this was the film city, and many shows were currently filming here. Hadley had already heard whispers that A had been hanging around various sets. Running into her here wasn’t entirely unexpected.
What was unexpected, though, was A’s reaction. The moment she heard her name, A froze for half a heartbeat—and then bolted.
“Stop! Don’t run!”
Someone lunged after her, their voice brimming with hostility. A rough hand snatched A’s arm, jerking her back mid-step. “Where do you think you’re going?”

Gasps rippled through the crowd as people began to take notice. A twisted in the grip, humiliation and fury written all over her face. “Let go of me!”
“Not a chance,” the woman said, her voice hard. “Just pay up. You give me what I’m owed, and I’ll disappear.”
A’s face drained of color. “What money? You’re insane! I don’t have a dime!”
The woman scoffed, her grip tightening. “No money? That’s rich. Don’t act innocent—this industry throws cash around like confetti, especially for women like you. You know how to cozy up to the right people. sh a smile, whisper a few sweet words… it’s practically raining cash after that, right?”
“Shut your mouth!” A hissed, mortified. She lunged to mp her hand over the woman’s mouth, panic rising in her chest. “What the hell are you saying?”
“Oh? Touched a nerve?” The woman sneered, easily shoving her hand away. “You paid me to burn those fishy candles—just to bait Mr. Scott into your bed! Was that nonsense too?”
“You’re insane!” A’s voice cracked, her eyes burning red with fury and shame.
“Insane?” The womanughed bitterly. “Maybe. But you made me this way!”
Her voice rose above the murmurs of the crowd. “I got fired from the hotel because of you! Do you know what that did to me? I can’t find work anywhere—I can’t even afford a proper meal these days! You ruined me!”
“Mr. Scott?” someone whispered.
