Chapter 1034

    ?Chapter 1034:

Eric had pushed himself to the limit recently. Both his body and mind were on the brink of exhaustion, leaving no room for trivial conversations.

Phillips picked up on this but paused, considering Eric’s emotional state. “This concerns Hadley…” He retrieved his phone, pulled up a viral post, and extended it towards Eric. “Have a look at this.”

Eric epted the phone and quickly scanned the headline. His expression turned stormy in an instant.

He tapped on the photo, his gaze sharpening as the man in the image came into view. Eric’s expression turned razor-sharp. His eyes gleamed with an icy rage.

He closed his eyes for a moment, steadying his swirling emotions.

Opening them, he was all business. “Is Hadley at the set?”

    “Yes.”

“Stay here. If Linda wakes up and looks for me, tell her Ernest needed me urgently. Should she be distressed, get the doctor at once. Ensure she’s well looked after.”

    “Understood, Mr. Flynn.”

With his ordersid out, Eric made a beeline for the movie set.

Meanwhile, at the set, Hadley was wrapping up her day. She took off her borate headpiece and began loosening her styled hair, ready to remove her makeup.

“Hadley!” A burst into the room, her voice tinged with excitement. “Mr. Flynn is here!”

She gave Hadley a conspiratorial wink. “Talk things out with him, okay? Be sweet and he’ll understand!”

The energy in the dressing room shifted the second Eric walked in. His presence said enough.

Sensing the storm in the air, the rest of the crew slipped out quietly, leaving only the two of them behind.

Hadley, seated at her vanity, saw Eric’s reflection approaching in the mirror. She reached for a wipe and started removing her stage makeup.

“All done for the day?” Eric pulled up a chair next to her and sat down, his phone twirling absentmindedly in his hand. “You heading out once you’re cleaned up?”

    gα?ησν????s??????? brings great stories

“Not immediately,” Hadley responded, her eyes still fixed on her reflection as she continued to wipe her face.

    “Hadley.”

Eric’s patience wore thin as he set his phone on the vanity, unlocked it, and pulled up the controversial post. His tone was deceptively nonchnt. “So, who’s this man?”

Hadley’s response was chillier than the air between them as she nced at the image. “I don’t know him.”

“You don’t know him?” Eric’s skepticism was evident as his eyes narrowed. “He appears to be holding your hand.”

Hearing his words, Hadley momentarily tensed, her mind shing back to the moment Brady was trying to hand her his business card. “It’s just the camera.”

“Angle,” she exined with a slight, dismissive smile. “He wasn’t actually holding my hand.”

Her face remained impassive, signaling she wasn’t inclined to borate further.

“That’s it?” Eric’s brows drew together, his patience thinning.
