Chapter 963

    ?Chapter 963:

Dinner had been arranged at Aucarro Restaurant, which was just a short drive from the set. They got there in no time.

As Hadley stepped out of the car, she stumbled and nearly lost her bnce.

    “Careful!”

A hand reached out just in time to steady her.

Startled, Hadley looked up and smiled at the person who caught her. “Thank you.”

“You’re wee.” The young man smiled back. It was the same driver who had brought them over.

“Hadley, are you alright?” A hurried over from behind and grabbed her arm. “Be careful! Why are you in such a rush to get out?”

Hadley chuckled. “Let’s head inside, shall we?”

    “Let’s go.”

Behind them, Eric stepped out of the Bentley. He saw the man’s hand on Hadley and the way she smiled back.

Who was that guy? And why was he touching her?

“Eric.” Linda stepped out of the car behind him and caught him staring. “What are you looking at?”

“Nothing…” Eric shook his head and pulled his gaze away.

    “Thene on. Let’s head inside.”

The restaurant had a wide, open banquet hall with around a dozen tables set up. Eric walked in and immediately began scanning the room.

“Eric?” Linda waved a hand in front of his face and chuckled. “You’re really out of it tonight. What’s got your attention?”

She nodded toward one side of the room. “Adonis is over there. Let’s go.”

“Okay.” Eric snapped out of it and followed her toward Adonis’ table. As he sat down, his eyes drifted to the far corner. There was Hadley, sitting with A. The two of them leaned close together, talking andughing about something.

“Mr. Flynn, it’s an honor to have you here with the crew today…”

Once everyone was seated, the usual pleasantries began.

Eric barely kept up. His attention drifted between the conversation at his table and the one across the room.

Hadley’s table wasn’t crowded. A few seats were still open around her, and she sat off to the side with A.

Eric noticed the nces being thrown her way.

People had definitely picked up on his presence. But from where they were sitting, it probably looked like he was here for Linda.

    “Has Hadley lost her ce?”

“Can’t say for sure if she’s out of favor, but Linda’s really something else. She’s got both the Flynn brothers wrapped around her finger. Not just any pretty face can pull that off.”

“Maybe Mr. Flynn’s just looking for excitement.”

    “Come on. He’s a man. He’s got needs… Ha-ha…”

    “Exactly.”

Amid the hum of conversation, Hadley tuned out the gossip and focused solely on her meal, slowly forking food into her mouth.

“Excuse me… Hi, um, is this seat taken?”

She looked up. It was the young driver from earlier, standing beside an empty chair.

“No,” she said with a polite smile.

The meal was crew-sponsored—anyone could sit wherever they liked.
